A showerhead includes an inlet configured to receive water from the supply conduit. An inner spray portion is coupled to the inlet. A first spray outlet is coupled to the inner spray portion, and the first spray outlet selectively receives water from the inlet and discharges water from the showerhead in a first discharge direction. An outer spray portion is pivotally coupled to the inner spray portion. A second spray outlet is coupled to the outer spray portion, and the second spray outlet selectively receives water from the inlet and discharges water from the showerhead in a second discharge direction. A third spray outlet is coupled to the outer spray portion, and the third spray outlet selectively receives water from the inlet and discharges water from the showerhead in a third discharge direction. The third discharge direction is substantially opposite the second discharge direction.

The illustrative showerhead assembly includes a showerhead to exert fluid, a support structure to transport the fluid to the showerhead, and a plurality of speakers to exert sound with a consistent directionality. The showerhead assembly illustratively includes a dome housing having an inner wall and an outer rim, a showerhead to exert fluid, a support structure extending from a center of the housing such that the support structure has a first end attachable to a wall or ceiling and a second end distal from the first end and the support structure transports the fluid to the showerhead, and a plurality of speakers disposed on the support structure such that the speakers are directed toward the inner wall of the housing and the speakers generate and exert sound with a consistent directionality.

A pair of in-ear headphones is disclosed that are operable to reproduce incoming audio signals. The in-ear headphones include a housing defining an internal chamber. A front portion of the housing defines a nozzle extending away from the housing. A driver is positioned in the internal chamber such that a sound reproduction portion of the driver is aligned with an internal audio channel running through the nozzle. A damper is positioned in an end of the nozzle having a damper aperture having a predetermined size. The nozzle extends from a base portion of the housing at a predetermined upward angle and a predetermined bend angle that provides improved audio frequency responses in desirable frequency ranges.

A system for selectively illuminates a light source that illuminates a power indicator of a video apparatus when the indicator distracts a viewer. The power button illumination is selectively set to be extinguished or illuminated when the video apparatus is powered on by means of an on-screen menu as an example. Extinguishing the power button light source does not affect the ability of the indicator to become illuminated to provide information to a viewer regarding the operating status of the video apparatus such as when a TV projection lamp has failed.

A television apparatus and method provides visual/audio feedback to a user via the auxiliary image (i.e., PIP window) simultaneously during the menu selection process for configuring the television system. The apparatus enables a user to verify the connection between an auxiliary video/audio source device (e.g., DVD player, satellite receiver, VCR etc.) and a desired input source of the television receiver during the configuration process of the television system. The television apparatus includes a television receiver suitable for generating video output signals for displaying a multi-image on a display device. The multi-image displays comprise a main image corresponding to the currently tuned/selected input signal and an on-screen display (&ldquo;OSD&rdquo;) of a configuration menu. The multi-images comprise the main image, the configuration menu and an auxiliary image, such as picture-in-picture (PIP) and picture-outside-picture (POP) displays.

Method and apparatus for providing feedback during programming of a television apparatus

A liquid crystal display television receiver projection system uses a high-intensity discharge lamp as a back lighting source. The lamp is of the type that should not be re-started or turned on immediately after being turned off. In response to a user power off command, the display screen will immediately give a false appearance of being turned off, during a first interval of, for example, 30 seconds that immediately follows the power off command. Despite the appearance of being turned off, the lamp is maintained powered on, during the first interval. Should a user issue a power on command, before the first interval has elapsed, the user will not experience any start-up delay. Should the user not issue et power on command, during the first interval, the lamp will be de-energized.
