The present invention relates to a biodegradable landscape fabric comprising spunlaced cellulosic fibers which comprise 0% to 75% wood pulp fibers and 25% to 100% regenerated cellulosic fibers without fiber binding materials and may further comprise a colorant.

Biodegradable landscape fabric

An insulating label stock includes a thermal insulating layer, which may a fiberfill batt. The batt is laminated to at least one layer of film, paper or fabric. The label stock can be wrapped around a container, such as a can, bottle or pouch. The label stock may be coated with a coating material so that it is printable, thus imparting both insulating properties and print capability to a container.

Insulating label stock

A nonwoven fabric having abrasion resistance and absorbency suitable for cleaning printer cylinders, especially textured or rough printer cylinders, is formed by hydroentangling a fibrous nonwoven web formed from higher-melting polyester base fibers and lower-melting binder fibers, and then thermally bonding the fabric.

Abrasion-resistant nonwoven fabric for cleaning printer machines

An elastic composite having a high tearing strength made of an elastomeric material and a consolidated entangled web, wherein the consolidated entangled fabric has at least 2 lbs of tearing strength in the machine direction and the composite has 70-95% elastic recovery from a 100% elongation in the cross direction and greater than 50% elastic recovery from a 150% elongation in the cross direction.

Elastic nonwoven composite

An insulating label stock or sleeve formed from such label stock includes a thermal insulating layer, which may a fiberfill batt. The batt is laminated to at least one layer of heat shrinkable material, such as a film. The insulated packaging material may be coated with a coating material to enhance printing capabilities. The insulating label stock or sleeve is installed around a container, and after being activated by heating, conforms to the contours of the container. The insulating label stock retains its hot and cold insulative properties after being heat-shrunk.

Heat shrinkable insulated packaging material

Also provided is a method of making the insulating label stock. The insulating label stock may be wrapped around a container, such as a can, bottle or pouch. A microwave susceptible insulated packaging material includes a thermal insulating layer, which may be a fiberfill batt. The insulating layer is laminated to at least one layer of a co-extruded film which has been coated on one surface with a microwave susceptible material, such as aluminum or aluminum coated with a food-safe contacting polymer sealant. The packaging material can be used to form a container, such as a pouch, or as a label or as a lining for a container. The packaging material may be coated also with a printable coating material.

Microwave susceptible insulated label and packaging material

An insulated packaging material includes a thermal insulating layer, which may a fiberfill batt. The batt is laminated to at least one facing layer of film, paper or fabric. The packaging material can be used as a container, such as a pouch. A food-contacting polymer material is applied to the facing layer to form the inner surface of the pouch. The packaging material may be coated on the outer facing layer with a coating material so that it is printable, thus imparting both insulating properties and print capability to the pouch.

Insulated packaging material and pouch formed thereof

A system, for example a footwear system, with moisture transport properties includes an insulating layer, which has transport properties, coupled to a fabric lining fabric with moisture transport properties. Antimicrobial efficacy can also be obtained by adding anti-bacterial treatments to the insulation and the lining, where the treatments could be anti-bacterial fibers, applications, or other technologies.

Insulating and footwear system

Method for unwinding elastic tape

A process is provided for preparing an elastic film of a specific elastomeric composition which is formed by melt blending two particular elastomers, each of which is composed of hard and soft segments made from poly(tetramethylene ether)glycol, 1,4-butane diol and a phenylene dicarboxylic acid or a derivative thereof. One of the elastomers has an inorganic anti-blocking agent compounded in it. The process includes the steps of melt blending, melt extrusion, quenching and providing a draw-down of 12 to 40 to form a film which is particularly suited for use as elastic leg-strips in diapers.

Process for making polyetherester elastomer film

A specific elastomeric composition is formed by melt blending two particular elastomers, each composed of hard and soft segments made from poly(tetra-methylene ether) glycol, 1,4-butane diol and a phenylene dicarboxylic acid or a derivative thereof. The blend exhibits a melting endotherm that extends from no lower than 120.degree. C. to no higher than 215.degree. C. with a melting peak in the range of 150.degree. to 175.degree. C. Films made from the composition are particularly suited for use as elastic leg-strips in diapers.
