A theft detection device, configured to be coupled to a product, includes a light sensor, a motion sensor, an emitter configured to emit a signal, and a controller coupled to the light sensor, the motion sensor, and the emitter. The controller is configured to determine a light level sensed by the light sensor. The controller is also configured to determine, via the motion sensor, whether the theft detection device is in motion. Further, the controller is configured to operate the emitter based on the sensed motion of the theft detection device and the light level sensed by the light sensor. The controller is further configured to deactivate the theft protection device when the light sensor detects a coded light sequence.

Theft detection device and method for controlling same

A signal emitting retail device is provided. The signal emitting retail device includes a sensor and an emitter. The emitter is configured to emit a signal when the sensor senses removal of merchandise from a merchandise display structure. The sensor is also configured to sense potential theft conditions. The emitter is configured to emit a signal indicative of potential theft conditions when such conditions are sensed by the sensor.

Signal emitting retail device

An alarm device configured to monitor retail merchandise on a retail pusher system is provided. The alarm device includes a triggering mechanism that activates an alarm when retail merchandise is removed from the retail pusher system. The alarm makes store personnel aware that retail merchandise has been removed from a particular pusher system. In certain embodiments of the invention, the alarm device is disposed on a front stop of the retail pusher system. A biasing member of the pusher system biases retail merchandise into a switch of the alarm device. In this configuration, the alarm device may include a plunger switch that activates an alarm when retail merchandise is not biased into the plunger switch.

Alarming pusher system

A wrap for a retail display, e.g., a pallet, is provided. The wrap includes corner units and a strap. The strap is releasably interfaced with corner units, with the corner units locating the strap relative to a retail display. The strap may include indicia such as printed indicia, such as, for example, advertisements.

Pallet skirt wrap

A folded slatwall insert is provided. A slatwall cover is illustrated anchored to a typical slatwall and covering at least one slat of the slatwall. A folded slatwall insert as disclosed prevents surface damage to a typical slatwall, allows for rapid and cost effective customization of the aesthetics of the slatwall, and can be used to mount custom graphics to the slatwall.

A merchandise tag and a method of controlling a merchandise tag are provided. The merchandise tag may be used to deter theft of retail products.

A rail for supporting hanging signage is provided. The rail includes a magnetic strip. The magnetic strip includes first and second end portions and a middle portion. When the rail is in an uncoupled configuration, the first and second end portions are offset from a horizontal reference plane including the middle portion.

A plastic molded bin that may universally mount to either of cross wires or cross bars in a retail merchandising environment as shown. The bin includes a receptacle and has hooks and retainers projecting from the back wall of the receptacle to provide for the universal mount structure. Partition walls with a mounting structure can be used to divide the merchandise holding chamber into different merchandising compartments.

A retail display clip is provided. The retail display clip includes a stationary clip base and a rotatable clip member that rotates about an axis of rotation. The rotatable clip member rotates relative to the clip base. The retail display clip includes an open state and a closed state. As the rotatable clip member rotates from the open to the closed or the closed to the open state, an over-center point is transitioned. The over-center point is created by the interaction between a locking tab of the rotatable clip member and a flat inner surface of the clip base. In the closed stated, a torque is created by the over-center point that causes the locking tab to place a force on the flat inner surface of the clip base. A gripping point is formed at the location where the locking tab places the force. The gripping point supports retail merchandise.

A signal receiver unit for retail systems is provided. The signal receiver unit may include a receiver, a processor, and an output transmitter, and may be configured to receive and process an alarm signal and to transmit an output signal in response. The output signal may be configured to be received by an output receiving device such that store personnel may be alerted to a possible theft.

A pusher hook with limited stroke is provided. The pusher hook includes a first and a second hook. A pusher mechanism is mounted on one of the first and second hooks and operable to bias merchandise carried by one of the first and second hooks. A slidable stop is also provided to limit the forward-most travel of a pusher body of the pusher mechanism along the one of the first and second hooks.

A stand alone divider for a shelf is provided. The stand alone divider includes a first and a second retainer arranged to grip a first and a second edge of a shelf. The stand alone divider may be installed on and removed from a shelf without the use of tools. The stand alone divider may have an adjustable length.
