Magnetically induced control signals into a transistorized switching circuit that drives an efficient output transformer provides high frequency control to power circuits with low RFI. Improved co-axial transformer embodiments s and co-axial lead acid battery embodiments are also provided.

Power supply with magistor switching

A rotary vane pump is provided that provides an improved fluid replenishment and pressure relief system within a rotary vane pump system. A system, containing a rotary vane pump containing at least one relief cut between the housing and the rotor, functions to relieve fluid pressure normally found between the housing and the rotor. The fluid leaks from areas such as the rotational clearance required between the rotor and an inner wall of the housing. The system includes a reservoir in fluid communication with the relief cut wherein fluid leaks are then retained within the reservoir. A fluid distribution manifold employing a plurality of check valves, each corresponding to a respective chamber within the rotor, provides a controlled fluid feed from the reservoir to the rotor thereby balancing the fluidic pressure existing between the radially innermost ends of the vanes and the radially outermost ends of the vanes.

Rotary vane pump seal

A heat pump system contains a hydristor pump/motor in fluid and thermodynamic communication with a first heat exchanger communicating with a relatively warm reservoir and a second heat exchanger thermodynamically communicating with a relatively cold reservoir whereby the hydristor and the first and second heat exchangers and are integral to and in fluid communication with a closed compressible fluid loop A Stirling engine or a home heating system or any other cold reservoir may, for example, utilize heat transferred from the second heat exchanger 176 thereby providing a reduction in energy usage and costs heretofore unrealized

Hydristor heat pump

A variable pump or motor is providing including a housing with inlet and outlet ports and a vaned rotor. Spool ends are provided at either end of the rotor thereby enhancing the effective sealing of the pump and its overall efficiency. Piston actuators are also described. A sealing means is provided in conjunction with the use of a flexible belt wherein volumetric efficiency is substantially improved.

Hydristor control means

A variable pump or motor is providing including a housing with inlet and outlet ports and a vaned rotor, the vanes being extensible against a shape controlled freely rotatable flexible band within the housing.
