A head restraint for a vehicle seat may have a head restraint support, a first loudspeaker unit, and at least one second loudspeaker unit. The head restraint may also have a lining element and a cover. The lining element covers the head restraint support, the first loudspeaker unit and the at least one second loudspeaker unit in the direction of a contact surface. The cover covers the head restraint support, the first loudspeaker unit and the at least one second loudspeaker unit in a direction opposite to the contact surface. The lining element, the head restraint support and the cover are designed in such a way that a sound generated by the first loudspeaker unit can be emitted from the head restraint to an external environment of the head restraint in a largely unattenuated manner. A vehicle seat having a backrest and the head restraint is also provided.

A floating seat may have at least one seat shell with a seat surface region and a backrest region. The seat may also have a base element on which the seat shell is arranged in an adjustable manner, and an adjustment mechanism for adjusting the seat shell relative to the base element and/or a seat base. The adjustment mechanism has at least one adjustment unit for adjusting the seat shell and at least one drive unit which is designed to lock the base element and the seat shell in place in a self-locking manner. The lock can be released by a force introduced into the adjustment unit by an occupant sitting in the seat shell via said seat shell as well as by a force introduced into the adjustment unit by the drive unit.

Seat assembly

A backrest for a vehicle seat may have a backrest part, a head restraint part and an acoustic arrangement. The acoustic arrangement is arranged above the backrest part and may have at least one central loudspeaker and at least two side loudspeakers. The central loudspeaker may be built into the head restraint part and each of the at least two side loudspeakers may be arranged on a support. A vehicle seat with the backrest is also provided.

Backrest for a vehicle seat

A vehicle seat headrest has a first sub-piece facing a seat occupant head, a second sub-piece and an energy storage device with a trigger actuator arranged between the first sub-piece and the second sub-piece. The first sub-piece is moveable relative to the second sub-piece out of a use position into a safety position along a movement direction towards the a seat occupant head as a result of an accident under the effect of a discharge of the energy storage device, which is actuated by the trigger actuator. The headrest is configured such that the volume of an expansion area is increased while the first sub-piece is moved relative to the second sub-piece as a result of an accident and by the effect of the discharge of the energy storage device. The headrest has a sealing device between the first sub-piece and the second sub-piece to delimit the expansion area.

Headrest for a vehicle seat

A seating system for at least one occupant in a vehicle interior is disclosed. The seating system may provide a seat assembly with a base assembly configured to be mounted in the vehicle interior and a seat structure configured to be coupled to the base assembly and providing a seat configured for movement relative to the base assembly. Movement of the seat relative to the base assembly may be made by at least two of recline movement or swivel movement or tilt movement. Recline movement may be generally translating movement of the seat structure. Swivel movement may be rotational movement of the seat structure. Tilt movement may be generally translating movement of the seat structure transverse to recline movement. The base assembly may be a mechanism configured to facilitate movement of the seat structure relative to the base assembly.

A headrest () of a vehicle seat includes a first head support device (') and a second head support device (&#x2033;). The headrest includes a tilting device () for tilting the first head support device (&#x2032;) relative to the second head support device (&#x2033;). The headrest () includes a height adjusting device () for adjusting the height of the first head support device (&#x2032;) relative to the second head support device (&#x2033;). A vehicle seat is also provided including an arm rest and a device.

A headrest, for a vehicle seat, is reversibly transferable between a first latching position and a second latching position by a translation movement. The headrest has a shaft co-rotating with the translation movement. The shaft is connectable in the first latching position and in the second latching position to a latching element. The one or more supporting elements () are formed by primary forming from a plastics material, in particular a material free of foam materials, or a composite material.

A mounting of the first section in relation to the second section is provided during the relative displacement about the rotational axis. The first section comprises a first bearing surface and the second section comprises a second bearing surface.
