A motor vehicle seat may have a seat squab, a back rest, and kinematics for moving the vehicle seat from a use position suitable for conveying people to a non-use position or access position. The access position makes accessing a rear row of seats easier. The seat may be moved by a drive device from the use position to the non-use position, and vice versa. The seat may have a rear foot with a locking device that can be locked with a counter-element for securing in the use position. The seat may also have a protection device arranged in the region of the locking device for detecting an obstacle in a movement path of the rear foot when the vehicle seat is moved from the non-use position to the use position.

A fitting for a vehicle seat may have a first ring gear having first ring gear teeth, a second ring gear having second ring gear teeth, and a planet gear mounted on a planet carrier and which meshes with the first and second ring gear teeth. A blocking planet gear, which can be rotated about a blocking-planet-gear axis of rotation, permanently meshes with the first ring gear teeth and with the second ring gear teeth, and the distance between the blocking-planet-gear axis of rotation and the axis can be changed so that the blocking planet gear can be transferred selectively between locking meshing and non-locking meshing with the first ring gear teeth and/or with the second ring gear teeth. A vehicle seat having a seat part, a backrest and a fitting of this type for setting an angle of inclination of the backrest is provided.

A double fitting for a vehicle seat may have a first fitting part and a second fitting part that are drivingly connected to each other. The double fitting may also have adapter parts that can be connected to at least one of the fitting parts. One of the adapter parts can be connected to a structural part of the vehicle seat or to a vehicle body part, and the other adapter part is movably connected to a limited degree to the other adapter part which can be rigidly connected to the structural part or the vehicle body part. An elastic element is arranged between the adapter parts, a first fitting of the fittings is arranged axially between the adapter parts, and one of the adapter parts is arranged axially between the fitting. To limit the movement travel (W), at least one switchable abutment () is provided in the region of the rails (). The backrest () is, at a predefined seat position (S), settable upright by way of the switchable abutment () from the easy-entry position (P) into the comfort position (P) and lockable to the seat part () in the predefined seat position (S).

A fitting () with a pivoting-forwards mechanism, positioning a backrest () of a vehicle seat () into a forward position, a comfort lock, positioning the backrest into a comfort region seat position (A to C), and an expanded comfort function, positioning the backrest beyond the front position into a loading platform position (E). The fitting includes a fitting part () and a driver (). A pivoting range of the backrest is limited in the forward position by an easy-entry latch () engaging in the fitting part (). The easy-entry latch, when the backrest is adjusted between the seat positions in the comfort region, bears against a stop () mounted on the backrest and, in the forward position, is prevented by the stop from pivoting further forwards, and, when the backrest is set upright from the forward position into one of the seat positions, pivots controlled by the stop.

An easy-entry system (EE) for a vehicle seat () with a backrest () and a seat cushion (), in arrangement with a fitting () for adjusting the inclination of the backrest () relative to the seat cushion () at least within a comfort range and optionally with an extended comfort function for positioning the backrest () beyond an easy-entry position into a loading floor position. The system includes, for initiating an easy-entry function, at least one actuating lever () which is coupled via at least one tension element () to an unlocking lever () for unlocking the inclination adjustment of the backrest (). A translatory movement of the tension element () is transformed by means of a sliding element () of a transmission arrangement () into a rotatory movement of the unlocking lever () for opening the fitting ().

Easy-entry system and vehicle seat with an integrated easy-entry system

A longitudinally adjustable vehicle seat () includes a lower rail () and a longitudinally displaceably guided upper rail. A lower rail mounted end stop () delimits a comfort adjustment region interacting with an upper rail mounted stop element (). The upper stop element () can be displaced beyond the comfort adjustment region into an easy entry region and is part of a stop module () that is pivotable about a pivot axis (S). The stop module () includes a deflector element () that moves upwards, when the stop element () has not been shifted away, in the vertical direction upon contact with a screw head () that is located in the cavity between the upper rail () and the lower rail (). The upper stop element () form-fittingly engages with the end stop () when the end stop () is reached.

A vehicle seat, in particular a motor vehicle seat, has a seat part and a backrest which is provided with a backrest frame which runs all around as a load-bearing structure. The backrest frame has a lower crossmember, two side parts and an upper crossmember. The backrest can pivot relative to the seat part by at least one fitting which is attached to the backrest frame. At least one corner piece is provided as part of the backrest frame, which corner piece connects the lower crossmember to one of the seat parts. The fitting is attached to the corner piece.
