Clamping device includes a clamp frame that is configured to move between an open configuration, in which the clamp frame is configured to receive at least one longitudinal element, and a closed configuration, in which the clamp frame wraps around and holds the at least one longitudinal element. The clamp frame includes a coupling end having an inner surface and a coupling base having an outer surface. The inner and outer surfaces have profiles that form a locked engagement to hold the clamp frame in the closed configuration. The clamping device also includes a secondary locking mechanism that secures the coupling end and the coupling base to each other. The secondary locking mechanism is activated after the clamp frame is held in the closed configuration by the locked engagement.

A low profile component tie includes a strap having a top and a bottom. The strap is configured to wrap around a component with the bottom facing the component. The strap has sides between the top and the bottom. The strap has teeth disposed along at least one of the sides. The strap extends between a root end and a distal end. A head is provided at the root end of the strap. The head has a channel configured to receive the strap. The head has at least one pawl provided in the channel. The pawl engages at least one of the teeth along the side of the strap to secure the strap in the head.

Low profile component tie

Modular enclosure includes a plurality of structural elements coupled to one another to at least partially define a cavity. The structural elements form a plurality of sub-assemblies in which each sub-assembly includes a corner section having a slot and first and second joint sections. Each of the first and second joint sections include an elongated body extending between two joint ends. The elongated body has an open-sided channel that extends along a length of the elongated body and opens to an exterior of the elongated body. The open-sided channel extends through each of the joint ends. The slot of the corner section is aligned with the open-sided channels of the first and second joint sections and a wall section is received by the slot and each of the open-sided channels.

Modular enclosure and an assembly for constructing a modular enclosure

A patch antenna array includes a plurality of patch antenna elements spaced apart from each other and arranged as an array. Each patch antenna element has a substrate, a radiating patch associated with the substrate and a ground plane associated with the substrate. The patch antenna elements are discrete and separate from each other. At least one element frame holds the discrete antenna elements in the array. Each element frame captures and positions at least two patch antenna elements relative to each other.

Microstrip patch antenna array

An enclosure includes a plurality of modular construction units that connect together to at least partially define an internal compartment of the enclosure. Each construction unit includes a wall segment extending a length from a corner end to a free end, and a corner segment extending outward from the corner end of the wall segment. The corner segment is integrally formed with the wall segment. The corner segment includes a receiver socket that is configured to receive the free end of another corresponding construction unit therein to connect the construction units together. The construction units connect together one after the other with a chasing symmetry to define the internal compartment of the enclosure.

Modular enclosure

An enclosure includes a plurality of modular corner segments and a plurality of modular wall segments that connect together to at least partially define an internal compartment of the enclosure. The wall segments extending lengths between opposite free ends. At least a majority of the wall segments are fabricated from a polymer. Each corner segment includes opposite first and second receiver sockets that are each configured to receive a corresponding free end of a corresponding wall segment therein to connect the corner segment to the corresponding wall segments. At least a majority of the corner segments are fabricated from a polymer. The corner segments and the wall segments connect together to define the internal compartment of the enclosure.

An electrical connector includes a cable having a shield, a shell and an attachment ring for attaching the shield to the fitting. The shell extends between a mating end and a cable end. The shell has a fitting at the cable end. The shell has a cavity receiving an end of the cable through the fitting. The attachment ring is received inside the shield and the fitting. The attachment ring presses the shield outward against an inner surface of the fitting. The shield may be positioned radially inside of the fitting and the attachment ring may be positioned radially inside of the shield. A radially outer edge of the attachment ring may impart an outward radial load onto the shield.

A cable connector includes a cable clamp having a cable end and a mating end. The cable clamp has an upper housing and a lower housing joined to the upper housing. An aperture is formed in at least one of the upper housing or the lower housing. The upper housing and the lower housing are moveable between a pre-assembled position and an assembled position. An insert is provided having a wire end and a mating end. The insert has a tab configured to engage the aperture to secure the insert within the mating end of the cable clamp in the pre-assembled position. The upper housing and the lower housing are moveable to the assembled position to retain the insert within the mating end of the cable clamp and a cable within the cable end of the cable clamp.

An electrical connector includes a terminal subassembly having inserts holding terminals. The terminals extend between a mating end and a cable end. The cable end is configured to be terminated to corresponding wires of a cable. A front shell surrounds a front portion of the terminal subassembly. The front shell provides electrical shielding around the mating ends of the terminals. The front shell is configured to be mated to a mating connector. A back shell surrounds a rear portion of the terminal subassembly. The back shell provides electrical shielding around the cable ends of the terminals. The back shell is configured to be terminated to an overbraid of the cable. The back shell includes a plurality of contacts that extend from a front of the back shell. The contacts engage, and are electrically connected to, the front shell.

Electrical connector

A connector configured to hold a contact module. The connector includes a housing that has an interior surface defining a cavity that extends between first and second ends of the housing. The cavity is configured to receive and hold the contact module therein. The connector also includes a spring tab that is located in the cavity and oriented to project from the interior surface toward the first end of the housing. The spring tab is integrally formed with the housing. Also, the connector includes a ridge portion that is located in the cavity and oriented to project from the interior surface. The contact module is retained between the ridge portion and the spring tab.

A connector assembly that includes a plug connector and a receptacle connector configured to mate with each other. The plug connector has a connector body including shroud with socket contacts received therein. The shroud also includes ribs and wing guides that extend in directions that are generally perpendicular to each other. The receptacle connector has walls that define a cavity that has a complementary shape for receiving the connector body. The walls are configured to direct the connector body into the cavity such that socket contacts within the plug connector engage pin contacts within the receptacle connector. The wing guide and the rib are configured to prevent damage to the pin contacts when the connector body is erroneously inserted into the receptacle connector.

A connector that includes a main body having ends and sides with a passage extending between the ends. The passage is configured to receive at least one of conductors and cables and the main body includes a guide channel that extends from at least one end and a guide channel that extends from at least one side into the main body. The guide channels join each other at an intersection. The connector also includes a first accessory that has a projection inserted into one of the guide channels and a second accessory that has a projection inserted into another of the guide channels. The projections engage each other at the intersection to secure the first and second accessories to the main body. A connector having a clamp sub-assembly secured to one end is also provided.

Connector having interlocking components

A connector including a pair of shells mated together along an interface that extends in a longitudinal direction. The pair of shells form a passage therebetween for conveying an electrical current and/or optical communication therethrough. Each shell includes an outer surface and a side projection that extends along the outer surface in substantially the longitudinal direction. The side projection has a ledge that projects from the outer surface and faces away from the interface. The connector also includes a coupling component that is configured to move along the shells in the longitudinal direction and engage the side projections. The coupling component has a slot configured to receive both side projections therein and is at least partially defined by a slot edge. The slot edge engages each ledge when the coupling component is moved over the side projections. The slot edge presses the side projections toward each other to secure the shells together.

A main body includes a plurality of holes formed therein a main clip and includes an exterior contact portion positioned exterior to the main body, a first carrier strip connected to the exterior contact portion and located within the main body and a plurality of clips extending from this carrier strip, each position within a corresponding hole formed in the main body. A slave clip includes a carrier strip located within the main body and a plurality of clips extending from the carrier strip, each positioned within a corresponding hole of the main body to make the corresponding one of the clips of the main clip. The pair of the clips formed within each hole form a terminal to allow terminal portions of a grounding wire to be connected therein. A cap having a plurality of holes corresponding in position and size to the holes formed in the main body may be frictionally engaged in a hollow portion of the main body to complete the assembly. The same potential block (e.g., grounding block) thus formed may be easily assembled utilizing only a few parts. Further, these parts may also be easily manufactured.
