An angled-head rotary cleaning device for dental purposes includes a plastic housing having an elongated neck portion that defines a sleeve with a wall. The neck portion includes a first end and a second end. The plastic housing has a head portion coupled to the first end of the neck portion and angled relative to the neck portion. The cleaning device also includes an elongated light guiding element having a light entry portion to receive light, and a light exit portion to emit light. At least a portion of the light guiding element is accommodated within the wall of the neck portion.

A dental hand instrument having an elongate handle sleeve, at the front end of which there is disposed a tool holder for holding a treatment tool, for example a dental drill, there is disposed inside the handle sleeve a driving mechanism for driving the treatment tool, the driving mechanism having at least two rotatably mounted shafts that are coupled to each other, and a sealing element is disposed in the coupling region of the two shafts inside the handle sleeve.

A coupling for the production of a releasable connection between a medical, in particular a dental, handpiece part and a supply hose and for the transmission of current and if applicable further supply media from the supply hose to the handpiece part. The coupling includes two coupling elements wherein one of the two coupling elements may be arranged on the supply hose and the other on the handpiece part. A guide element is arranged on one of the two coupling elements, which guide element can be inserted into an insertion opening formed on the other coupling element. In a certain relative rotational position of the two coupling elements a pushing element having current contacts engages into a corresponding recess of the second coupling element, wherein with inserted or at least partly inserted guide element the two coupling elements can be rotated relative to one another around an axis of rotation before attainment of the predetermined coupling position. Thereby there is formed a reliable bayonet coupling which makes possible a particularly easy handling.

A medical, in particular dental-medical, handpiece, having a shaft, having a forward shaft section and a rearward shaft section, which defines an obtuse angle with regard to each other, having a working head at a forward end of the forward shaft section, which is tapered towards the working head, and having a drive shaft in the shaft, which drive shaft has a forward drive shaft section and a rearward drive shaft section, which stand in drive connection with one another, the forward end of the forward drive shaft section standing in drive connection with a tool holder moveably mounted in the working head, and the forward drive shaft section being mounted in a receiving sleeve. The receiving sleeve can be screwed in, from the rear, into the forward shaft section.
