Provided herein is an inventory management system for dispensing products from an enclosure, methods of securing products within the enclosure, use of the enclosure and for maintaining inventory. The inventory management system may include an enclosure having a self-locking door. The self locking door may include a door, a lock located on the door, a strike plate, wherein the strike plate controls the lock, and a sensor configured to detect the presence of a user and wherein the sensor controls the lock.

Accurate methods to model the precipitation rate, water delivery spatial distribution, and distribution uniformity for irrigation systems for landscapes are described. A relatively small set of test data is fitted to empirical and physics-based formulas. This permits the extrapolation of test data for an irrigation system with sprinklers being used with any arbitrary specification of operational and environmental variables. The operational variables are the pressure at the sprinkler head, sprinkler model and nozzle choice, range of arc operation, throw adjustment, head tilt, run time, and spatial position. The environmental variables are the wind profile and three-dimensional terrain topology. The; invention predicts the surface distributions and the three-dimension spatial distributions. Projected onto a landscape surface, this predicts the surface distributions for any arbitrary landscape topology, and includes the effect of wind upon the distribution, and thus provides a very general and realistic irrigation design tool.

Accurate methods for modeling the spatial distribution for irrigation systems for landscapes

In one embodiment, a method of dynamic reference plane compensation, comprises impinging radiation from a first radiation source onto a surface of an object; generating an uncompensated measurement signal from radiation reflected from a first location on the surface and a second location; generating a compensation signal from radiation reflected from a third location and a fourth location on the surface; and generating a compensated measurement signal using the uncompensated measurement signal and the compensation signal.

Dynamic reference plane compensation

An improved transmission shift mechanism which incorporates both a combined synchronizing clutch and a positive engagement system for coupling and decoupling gear elements within a transmission frame. The synchronizing clutch mechanism has a plurality of circumferentially spaced latch members which are radially displaceable for frictional circumferential engagement with the inner walls of a gear member having a central bore opening. The positive engagement system is a locking unit which includes circumferentially spaced spherical elements which are also radially reciprocal for seating within corresponding recesses within the bore of the gears. The frictional engagement members and the positive locking ball elements are cooperatively actuated through contoured cam surface elements which are longitudinally displaceable within the sliding member responsive to manual operation of an extension rod in the longitudinal direction.
