A reaction resin mortar curable by frontal polymerization is described, comprising at least one radically polymerizable compound (a), at least one thiol-functionalized compound (b) and at least one polymerization initiator (c), wherein the weight ratio of the at least one radically polymerizable compound (a) and the at least one thiol-functionalized compound (b) is in the range of 10:1 to 2:1 and wherein the polymerization initiator (c) is selected from compounds which can be thermally activated and/or thermally released at a temperature of above 30&#xb0; C. and/or ammonium persulfates which are formed in-situ from at least one organically substituted ammonium salt and at least one inorganic persulfate as well as a method for fixing anchor rods, rebars or the like in bore holes using the reaction resin mortar.

A composition that forms an insulating layer is described, which contains a thiol-ene-based binder. With the composition according to the invention, the expansion rate of which is relatively high, coatings having the layer thickness necessary for the respective fire resistance time can be applied simply and quickly, the layer thickness being reduced to a minimum and a highly insulating effect still being achieved. The composition according to the invention is particularly suitable for fire protection, in particular as a coating of metallic and/or non-metallic substrates, for example steel components such as pillars, beams or truss members, to increase the fire resistance time.

Composition that forms an insulating layer and use thereof

A description is given of a two-component mortar composition having a curable resin component having a content of at least one free-radically polymerizable resin, fillers, accelerators, stabilizers and optionally further conventional mortar constituents and a hardener component which is arranged separately therefrom to inhibit reaction and has a content of at least one peroxide for chemical fastening of anchoring means in boreholes, which is characterized in that the resin component contains from 0.1 to 0.5% by weight of at least one accelerator and from 0.003 to 0.03% by weight of at least one stabilizer and the hardener component contains from 0.1 to 0.35% by weight of organic peroxide, in each case based on the total weight of resin component and hardener component, and also the use of this two-component mortar composition for chemical fastening of anchoring means in boreholes.

Two-component mortar composition and its use

An accelerator mixture for peroxide hardeners, in particular an accelerator mixture for an organic peroxide-curing resin mixture, a two-component mortar system containing the same for chemical fastening and use of the same for chemical fastening of anchoring elements in boreholes are disclosed. Using a mixture of bis-N-substituted p-toluidines with bis-N-substituted anilines or bis-N-substituted m-toluidines, it is possible to provide a mortar composition for chemical fastening of anchoring elements in boreholes, which will have an improved low-temperature curing and improved load ratings at high temperatures with an extended gel time.

A two-component reaction resin includes a resin component (A), which contains, as curable constituent (a), at least one free radical-curable, ethylenically unsaturated compound, an agent (b) for adjusting the reactivity and the gel time and at least one comonomer (c) and a curing component (B), which is disposed separate therefrom to inhibit any reaction and is a curing agent for the resin of the resin component (A) and which, as agent (b) for adjusting the reactivity and the gel time, contains a pyrocatechol derivative of the general Formula (I):

A two-component mortar composition is described with a curable resin component containing at least one free radical-polymerizable resin, fillers, reactive diluents, solvents, accelerators and/or further conventional mortar components and, separated therefrom to inhibit reaction, a curing agent component for chemically fastening anchoring means in boreholes, characterized in that the resin component, in order to improve the adhesion to different mineral substrates of the borehole, contains a reactive diluent mixture of at least one hydroxyalkyl (meth)acrylate and at least one acetoacetoxyalkyl (meth)acrylate. Furthermore, the use of the two-component mortar composition for chemically fastening anchoring means in boreholes of different mineral substrates is also described.
