A filling unit () for a rotary press () includes a filling wheel (), a metering wheel (), a feeding wheel () and a medium unit (). The filling unit () is designed in such a way that the feeding wheel () can be connected to and disconnected from a delivery path of the medium to be metered, in particular by having a pivoting device () perform a pivoting movement, in particular about an axis of rotation () of the metering wheel (), which is in the form of an impeller ().

A device for optical characterization of a sample is provided, the sample being accommodated in a receptacle container transparent to light. The device includes a camera, using which the sample may be detected, and a first light source is situated in such a way that the sample is transilluminated opposite to the viewing direction of the camera, a second light source is situated on the same side as the camera, and a laser source is situated transversely to the viewing direction of the camera.

Device for optical characterization

A method is provided for detecting not fully set coatings and liquid or smearing impurities on a surface, in which in a first step a film is pressed onto a surface of a coating using a predefined press-on pressure, the film having a relative motion with respect to the surface of the coating, thereafter the film is pulled off the surface of the coating and finally it is determined whether impurities are adhering to the film. A device and a method are provided for the analysis of a sample plate on which at least two material samples are situated. In the method, one impedance spectrum is measured for each of the material samples. As a function of the respectively measured impedance spectrum, a configuration of a circuit equivalent is determined which includes at least one electronic component. Then, for an error minimization computation, starting values for the components of the respective circuit equivalents are determined. In the error minimization computation, a theoretical impedance spectrum is calculated for at least one of the material samples, based on the impedance spectrum measured for the material sample, as well as the starting values for the components of the respective circuit equivalent, and fit values are determined for the components of the respective circuit equivalent. Subsequently, a validation variable is determined for the calculated, theoretical impedance spectrum, and an evaluation variable is ascertained by comparison of at least one of the fit values for the components to a reference value.
