Body scan measurement for personalized ergonomic vehicle settings

A method performed by a vehicle system for handling parameters associated with surroundings of a vehicle. The vehicle system obtains information indicating a first parameter associated with the surroundings of the vehicle and sensed by at least one low power sensor. The low power sensor is associated with the vehicle. The vehicle system triggers startup of at least one high power sensor when the first parameter has fulfilled a criteria. The high power sensor consumes a larger amount of power than the low power sensor, and the high power sensor is associated with the vehicle or another vehicle. The vehicle system obtains information indicating at least a second parameter associated with the surroundings of the vehicle and sensed by the high power sensor.

A lane shift indicating system for indicating a potential lane shift of a vehicle supporting at least partly automated steering and vehicle speed control, when the vehicle is travelling along a first driving lane of a road having a second driving lane separated from the first driving lane by one or more lane markings. The lane shift indicating system determines a driving environment of the vehicle at an initial vehicle position, and determines that the driving environment indicates that the vehicle is in a driving situation where a lane shift from the first driving lane to the second driving lane is considered appropriate, and adjusts the steering prior to a potential automated vehicle speed adjustment pertinent the determined driving situation, such that the vehicle continues its travel laterally closer to the one or more lane markings along the first driving lane, as compared to the initial vehicle position.

Method and system for indicating a potential lane shift of a vehicle

An arrangement for facilitating handover to and from an automated autonomous driving aid system of a vehicle comprises a lane marking detecting unit, a steering control driving aid system for performing steering in response to detected lane markings, a positioning system for determining a current position and a current heading direction, an alert signal arrangement for selectively providing an alert signal, and a communication arrangement for communicating with a database comprising data indicative of an incapability of performing automated steering at a portion of a road ahead. It is presented a method for providing a user interface of a portable electronic apparatus. The method comprises: detecting an actuation of a mode switch actuator associated with switching operational modes of the apparatus; determining a switching direction by determining whether the actuation is associated with a first switching direction or a second switching direction; determining a current operational mode; determining a new operational mode considering the switching direction and the current operational mode; and switching operational modes of the portable electronic apparatus from the current operational mode to the new operational mode. Corresponding portable electronic apparatuses and computer program product are also presented.
