A device for measuring the accretion of ice on a studied surface. The device has two arms, a first arm and a second arm, the second arm forming an enclosure for housing an image acquisition system disposed to acquire, through an orifice, images of a part of the studied surface located on the first arm. The device thus makes it possible to dissociate the support of the image acquisition system from that of the studied surface on which ice accumulates. Consequently, it is possible to place the second arm in the direction of the flow of the stream of air flowing along the aircraft while the first arm passes through the stream.

A device measures a flight parameter of an aircraft which has a radome. Systems measure the deformation of a wall of the radome due to forces exerted by the air on the radome. A computer computes the flight parameter from deformation measurements obtained by the systems. The systems have an optical fiber carried by the radome provided with Bragg gratings. Each fiber has a plurality of Bragg gratings distributed over a length of the fiber so as to distribute the Bragg gratings over the radome when the fiber is installed.

A device and method of simple design for measuring displacement between a first part and a second part that are substantially coaxial, preferably mounted on one another by an annular linear link. The device includes a structure for mounting the device on the part, blades secured to the structure and bearing on an outer surface of an intermediate member, the member being mounted around the part, at least one strain/deformation sensor associated with each blade, the sensors configured to transmit output signals dependent on the levels of deformation of the blades, and a conversion unit configured to deliver, from the output signals, at least one datum corresponding to the relative position of the parts, preferably out of an azimuth angle, an elevation angle and an axial displacement.
