The invention relates to a method and a device for applying a strip-shaped material () onto a contact area () of an object that is limited by at least one second section emanating from the first section, whereby the strip-shaped material is applied in a direction of application () onto the contact area by a pressure element () and the pressure element emanates from a pivotable pivoting element () that is connected to a holder. In order to make a completely automated application of the strip-shaped material onto the object possible, it is suggested that the actively pivotable pivoting element () is pivoted during the application of the strip-shaped material () onto the contact area () in and/or counter to the direction of application () and executes a lifting movement during the course of the pivoting movement.

Method and device for applying a strip-shaped material onto an object

The invention relates to a method for adhering an object () having an adhesive tape () preferably having a liner (), wherein the object having the adhesive tape contacts and is applied to the object during transport of the object having the likewise transported adhesive tape and wherein the speed of the object and the speed of the adhesive tape are synchronized during the adhesion. In order to enable adhesion of the object without influencing the adhesive tape, whereby the adhesive effect could be negatively influenced, according to the invention the object is transported by means of a handling arrangement and both the velocity and acceleration curves of the object are transferred to the transport of the adhesive tape via an axis of the handling device.

Method and device for adhering an edge of a laminar object

A method for producing a profiled bead made of a plastic, particularly of a polymer, on a piece, particularly on a window pane. In the method at least a partial portion of an edge region or lateral face region of a surface of the piece is brought into contact with a forming face. The plastic is deposited stuck to at least part of the periphery of a surface of the piece untouched by the forming face and the external dimensions of the profiled bead formed are also defined by the forming face. The forming face is pressed against the edge region or lateral face region of the fixed piece using a flat support, the shape of which can vary under the pressure of a fluid. This then gives a better matching of the forming face to the contour and to any dimensional discrepancies of the piece.

Method and device for producing a profiled rim on a component, and glazing provided with a profiled rim

A window pane (), in particular an automobile window pane, is adhesively bonded to a frame () of a window opening by an adhesive bead (), and carries a profiled bead () provided with a recess () extending longitudinally and a tear-away cord () laid therein. Tear-away cord () is designed for breaking the adhesive bond between window pane () and frame (). A contact surface is provided for adhesive bead () alongside profiled bead (). In the fitted state, recess () is open toward adhesive bead () so that the tear-away cord may be pulled without exerting a high force directly in the adhesive bead that abuts the opening of the recess.

Window pane capable of bonding with tear-away cord

A window having with a first surface, a second surface and an edge face is provided. A mould having an upper section and a moulding bed with a mould surface, which together form a mould channel into which a polymeric material can be introduced to form the trim, is also provided. At least a part of the window is inserted into the mould channel so that the perimeter of first window surface contacts the moulding bed and the window surface extends parallel to the mould surface. The polymeric material is introduced into the mould channel and the polymeric material adheres to the perimeter of the second surface of the window to provide a trim section which projects beyond the second surface and covers the edge face of the window, while preventing the adhesion of the trim section to the edge face of the window.
