In example implementations, a vertical stacking door includes an end cap that is coupled to a panel. The end cap includes a body portion, a cam lever to rotate around an axis to generate a lift force to lift and separate an adjacent panel of a plurality of panels of the vertical stacking door, a first track wheel, a second track wheel, and a third track wheel.

Examples of the present disclosure provide an overhead door panel. The overhead door panel includes a pair of parallel glass panes, a metal frame with parallel lateral stiles oriented perpendicular to the pair of parallel glass panes, a first seal system located at a first lateral stile, and a second seal system located at a second lateral stile, wherein the first seal system and the second seal system engage with at least one glass pane of the pair of parallel glass panes and a lateral stile of the parallel lateral stiles of the metal frame such that the first seal system and the second seal system are between the at least one glass pane and the lateral stile.

A vertical panel door stacking system for a door having panels with end caps coupled thereto. The end caps include a body portion, a cam lever to rotate around an axis to generate a lift force to lift and separate an adjacent pair of panels of the panels of the door, a first track wheel, a second track wheel, and a third track wheel. The track wheels interact with a track system to guide movement of the door panels between a closed position and an open position.

In example implementations, a horizontal door guide for a vertically stacking door is provided. The horizontal door guide includes a first track and a second track to vertically stack panels of a door along a horizontal line, a drive shaft coupled to a bottom most panel to lift the door vertically, a Geneva drive shaft coupled to the drive shaft, and a lifting cam coupled to the Geneva drive shaft, wherein the lifting cam comprises a rotating lever to separate and lift adjacent panels of the door as the door is opened in a vertical direction by the drive shaft and to push panels into the first track and the second track.

In example implementations, a track system of a vertically stacking door includes a vertical track, a track coupling coupled to the vertical track, a first curved track portion coupled to the track coupling, a second curved track portion coupled to the track coupling, and a ramp coupled to the vertical track. The ramp interacts with a cam lever to separate adjacent panels of the vertically stacking door.

In example implementations, a universal endlock is provided. The universal endlock includes a body, a first side along a first edge of the body, a second side along a second edge of the body opposite the first edge, a first lip on a first end of the first side, and a second lip on a first end of the second side. The body includes an intersecting hole pattern on a center portion of the body. The first side and the second side are each bent towards a back side of the body. The first lip is bent away from a first edge of the body and the second lip is bent away from the second edge of the body.

Universal endlock

An overhead door having a floating spring adjustment is presented. Tension is applied to a torsion spring while the door is in the open, minimal tension state. One end of the torsion spring is fixed to a spring tension trolley. The trolley translates within a trolley guide mounted to the building structure. The other end of the torsion spring is fixed to a shaft running through the torsion spring. This allows the torsion spring to change in length as the number of coils shrink and grow through door operation thereby eliminating the 'snake-like' or serpentine appearance from an improper fixed torsion spring length.

A closure locking design is presented that is more resistant to a displacement/dislodgement force. A closure end strip is fixed to a closure end and received by a closure guide first section. A rotatable tube and hook assembly run vertically within a closure guide second section. When rotated to a locking position a hook member of the tube and hook assembly rotates through a slot cut in the guide and through a cutout in the closure end strip to restrictively engage the closure.

A multi-panel overhead stacking door which allows for the addition of multiple panels across an opening width. A vertical extrusion acts a guide for the panel above and/or below it. The vertical extrusion serves as a moving guide which thereby allows for the relatively easy addition of multiple panels. At each end of the door is a series of formed parts that are attached to the ends of the end panels and movably maintained with door guides. The assembled door is driven by, for example, a driven shaft, positioned at the top of or above the door opening. The shaft comprises drums to windingly and unwindingly receive a lifting member. The lifting member runs from the drum to the bottom panel assembly behind each vertical extrusion.

An enclosure system is adapted for exterior storage. The storage system has a rear wall, joined to two side walls with a mechanical housing there between. A first track is arranged on a first inner edge of the first side wall and extends distally away from the mechanical housing while parallel to the ground surface and then downward toward the ground surface. A second track is arranged on a second inner edge on the second side wall and extends distally away from the mechanical housing while parallel to the ground surface and then downward toward the ground surface. A rolling coiling service door is housed in the mechanical housing, and is configured to roll down the first track and the second track to enclose an internal space between the first side wall and the second side wall.

Enclosure system

A closure is described. In a preferred embodiment a novel door roller is presented that is more resistant to a dislodgement force. The door roller comprises a bearing that rolls on a piece of round stock that is part of a door guide. When a dislodgement force is imposed on the door, the door bows and the bearing contacts the stock preventing dislodgement of the door roller from its track and allow the door to remain operational.

The disclosed invention prevents damage to a hood and its contents. In a preferred embodiment, a first and second support member are mounted on either side of an access opening. A cross member is slidably retained in a protective, starting position within the support members. The cross member is preferably positioned above the access opening in front of a coiling door hood such that a striking force directed at the hood first encounters the cross member. When struck, the cross member slidably retracts against a force assembly to dissipate the striking force and upon withdrawal of the striking force the cross member returns without human intervention to the protective, starting position.

A vertically coiling door assembly that is used for emergency egress. Upon notice of a predefined alarm state, after a delay the door deploys by gravity, stopping upon contact with an obstruction. The door may be lifted at any time without power and after a set amount of lift powered movement is triggered moving the door to a preset height, pausing the door at that height, and then resuming gravity deployment. In the total absence of power the door may still be lifted, with resumption of gravity deployment upon removal of the lifting force.
