The invention presents a harness assembly for lifting and supporting an animal in mobility. The assembly comprises a front and rear harness sections releasably attached by a lifting leash. Both the front and rear harness sections can be used independently. Both the front and rear harness sections are comprised of upper and lower sections releasably attached to one another. The rear harness section lifts the animal from both the hips and waist resulting in less stress than other devices.

A hitch-mountable, collapsible stair assembly is disclosed for use in assisting mounting into a raised vehicle bed. The steps rotate between a generally vertical stowed position and a generally horizontal in-use position. The height of the steps above the ground is adjustable. The lower step can also be extended for ease of use.

A salad spinner has a hub connected in a rotary driving relationship to a colander mounted within the salad spinner for rotation about an axis of rotation. A brake provides braking force to the hub coaxially with the colander axis of rotation. The brake includes a spring-loaded button located coaxially with the colander axis of rotation and an actuation element between the button and the hub for applying coaxial, linear force from the button to the hub for braking. A drive plate is connected in a rotary driving relationship to the hub, and the button is constrained for co-rotation with the drive plate and linear motion relative the drive plate.

A salad spinner has a support frame with a receiving aperture. A colander is supported by the support frame in the receiving aperture for rotation about an axis of rotation. A removable drive assembly is removably coupled to the support frame and colander, and the removable drive assembly includes an actuator to transmit a driving input applied to the actuator to rotate the colander. A fan having a plurality of angled blades is mechanically coupled to the actuator to force air into the colander.

A beverage container having at least two compartments separated by a partition, allowing the container to hold two separate liquids at once. A top open end of the container is secured via a rotatable threaded ring and a gasket fitted cap, the cap having two openings each positioned over a separate chamber, and with a means for securing the cap in a liquid-tight and secure fashion that ensures proper positioning of the cap openings over each compartment.
