A medical instrument for endoscopic surgery, including a sheath tube having a distal and a proximal end and a connecting body arranged at the sheath tube's proximal end area, whereby the sheath tube and connecting body are penetrated in axial direction by a common channel, through which an elongated actuating element passes, an end body connectable to connecting body having a hand grip attached for operating the medical instrument, a locking slider, which is slidably housed in a channel oriented at an angle to the channel within connecting body, whereby the actuation area of locking slider projects from connecting body and can be actuated to locked and free positions using finger pressure, such that the end body coupled to connecting body is positively locked to connecting body in the locked position, and the end body in the free position can be detached from connecting body.

Medical instrument for endoscopic surgery

A shaft of a laparoscopic instrument, having a ceramic tube which extends over the main length of the shaft and has a sheath which encloses the ceramic tube in at least some regions, is situated to cover those regions of the ceramic tube that are at risk of breakage and is designed to prevent the splinters of ceramic from penetrating through the sheath. The ceramic tube forms a predetermined breaking point in the region of the sheath.

Handle

The invention relates to an electrosurgical laparoscopic instrument having an elongated shaft, wherein an end effector is disposed on the distal end of said shaft and a handle is disposed on the proximal end of said shaft. The shaft is designed as a tube through which a rod extends which is coupled to a movable part of the handle and to a movable part of the end effector for actuation by longitudinal movement, and the end effector is connected to the handle via at least one electrical lead. At least one of the leads is disposed in the wall of a hose which is disposed surrounding the rod in the tube.

The jaw head comprises at least one electrode designed for tissue surgery and is electrically connected by means of the actuation bar to a cable issuing from the bar, the actuation bar and the jaw head being detachably connected to the manipulating unit wherein the actuation bar and the jaw head are detachably connected transversely to the stem direction or in the proximal direction parallel to the stem to the manipulating unit.
