Aspects of the disclosure include a non-transitory computer-readable medium storing thereon sequences of computer-executable instructions for automatically identifying underutilized features of an electronic device, the sequences of computer-executable instructions including instructions that instruct at least one processor to determine whether at least one underutilized-feature trigger is satisfied, identify, based on determining that the at least one underutilized-feature trigger is satisfied, at least one underutilized feature of the electronic device, identify the at least one underutilized feature of the electronic device to a user of the electronic device, and store an indication of the identification of the at least one underutilized feature of the electronic device to the user.

Various aspects include audio devices with a capacitive sensing interface along a compound curved wall. Some aspects of the disclosure relate to wearable audio devices with a capacitive sensing interface and a flexible printed circuit board (PCB) for detecting a touch command at the interface. In certain cases, the flexible PCB has at least one slit for conforming to the compound curve of the wall. In additional implementations, the inner surface of the wall is faceted and the flexible PCB conforms to the facets in the wall.

Aspects describe an earpiece with structure for positioning and retaining the earpiece and with structure for sealing against the entrance to the ear canal. According to aspects, the retaining structure has at least one substantially elliptical leg configured to follow the curve of the anti-helix and/or the cymba concha at the rear of the concha. The leg increases in thickness from a tip of the earpiece towards the body of the earpiece. The sealing structure is substantially frusto-conical and extends from a nozzle. The nozzle is angled to align with ear geometry. In an example, he sealing structure has a slight radius on an outer surface of the sealing structure. In another example, the sealing structure has a substantially constant thickness from the nozzle to the wide end of the sealing structure.

Various implementations include devices with a latched battery cavity. In one implementation, a device includes: a body; a cavity within the body for holding a battery; a lip extending at least partially about the cavity; and a latch coupled with the body proximate the cavity for regulating movement of the battery in the cavity, wherein the latch requires multi-stage actuation to permit removal of the battery from the cavity, wherein the latch is actuatable to translate in a direction transverse to an outer surface of the battery and to depress in a direction substantially perpendicular to the direction transverse to the outer surface.

In a dual-concentric knob, an inner knob acts as a solid ergonomically functional knob for forces below a threshold and collapses into an outer knob for forces above the threshold. In some examples the inner knob also acts as a push button for forces below the threshold. A hand-operated control is mounted on a hub for axial movement between a first position and a second position relative to the hub, a mechanism axially rigidly couples the control to the hub in the first position unless a force greater than a threshold is applied to the control, and a mechanism rotationally couples the control to the hub in both the first and the second positions.
