The present invention relates to an imaged element comprising at least one imaged layer comprising at least one yellow dye and a support, wherein said support comprises at least one face side resin layer comprising a material capable of improving the yellow dark stability of said imaged element, wherein said materials has the formula:

Disclosed is a silver halide direct view multicolor photographic element comprising a red record containing (1) a red light sensitized silver halide emulsion, (2) a cyan dye-forming NB first coupler, and (3) a second coupler selected from (a) a magenta dye forming coupler in an amount of 2-30 mole % of the total coupler in the red record and (b) a cyan dye-forming coupler having a greater absorption in the green spectra than the first coupler in an amount sufficient to provide a Status A green density in the range of 0.27 to 0.40 using a red light separation exposure at a Status A red density of 1.0. Such an element exhibits improved flesh tone reproduction and good dye dark stability.

Silver halide light sensitive photographic elements are disclosed comprising a support bearing at least one yellow image forming hydrophilic colloid layer comprising a yellow dye-forming coupler and a trialkyl citrate coupler solvent of the formula C H (OH)(CO R) , where each R independently represents an alkyl group and the total number of carbon atoms for the three R groups combined is greater than 6. The combination of such citrate ester solvents with yellow dye forming couplers in photographic elements leads to both good reactivity and good image-dye light stability. The advantages of the invention are particularly useful for photographic color paper elements on reflective supports.

It has been discovered that when polyalkylene oxide compounds or block polymeric or block oligomeric surface active compounds comprising at least a polyoxypropylene (POP) block and a polyoxyethylene (POE) block are added to conventional dispersions of yellow couplers (that is dispersions in which the dispersed particles have a particle size of 0.1 to 0.6 .mu.m), such dispersions in a coated silver halide photographic element produce substantially higher dye yield compared to the conventional dispersion without any additive.
