An assembly for mounting a speaker to a surface includes a bracket having an elongated arcuate section and two end sections angled approximately perpendicular to the arcuate section. The end sections are attached on opposite sides of a speaker. A support device is provided, having a main body with a central channel, and channel guides running along each side of the central channel. The channel guides slidably retain the arcuate section of the bracket in the channel when the bracket is slid into the channel under the channel guides. A clamp is connected to the main body for clamping the bracket in place within the channel. A speaker can be mounted to the surface by attaching the bracket to the speaker, attaching the support device to the surface, sliding the bracket into the channel and moving the clamp to the locked position to lock the bracket in place.

Speaker mounting assembly

A mounting bracket assembly has a stationary bracket to be mounted on a pole or other surface, and an adjustable bracket to be attached to the object to be mounted. The adjustable bracket is then positioned on the stationary bracket to mount the object on the surface or pole. The adjustable bracket is first mounted on the stationary bracket in a preliminary mounting position using integrated hooks and latches, and then can be easily adjusted to a permanent mounting position and secured with screws.

Mounting bracket

A system for mounting a component in an aperture of a supporting surface has a mounting flange surrounding the component to be mounted, and at least two clamp dogs attached to the mounting flange and located adjacent a rear surface of the mounting flange. The component is inserted into a mounting hole cut in a sheet rock surface or ceiling tile, so that the flange abuts the front face of the surface. The clamping assemblies are located on the rear face of the surface. There is a pivoting system for pivoting the clamp dog around an axis. The pivoting system is operable from both the front surface and the rear surface of the mounting flange so that the clamp dogs can be actuated from either side of the sheet rock or ceiling tile.
