Methods and systems for processing messages received from a security device are presented. In some embodiments, a server may receive one or more messages from a security console and subsequently may determine the location of the security console. The server then may identify one or more other devices that are grouped, e.g., located within a predetermined distance, with the security console. Thereafter, the server may send one or more alert messages to the identified devices.

Systems and methods are disclosed for least cost acquirer routing based on pricing models. One method comprises: receiving transaction-related information from a merchant, the transaction-related information including a payment network identifier of the payment network used in the initiated payment transaction; identifying the payment network used based on the payment network identifier determining the primary qualification criteria pertaining to the payment network used; determining an interchange rate and an interchange category based on the primary qualification criteria and the received transaction related information; determining a pricing model of an acquirer that yields the lowest fees applicable to the merchant based on one or more of, the transaction related information, the primary qualification criteria, and the interchange category; and transmitting the transaction-related information to the acquirer.

Systems and methods for least cost acquirer routing for pricing models

Various systems described herein may allow a user's personal information, such as their medical history, to be automatically delivered to appropriate emergency personnel in response to a reported emergency, such as a 911 call, activation of a smoke alarm or security system, or other emergency. Various items of personal and confidential information may be stored in a secure location, and the user may provide advanced approval to have the information automatically delivered to emergency responders in response to a request for emergency assistance. For example, after the user initiates a request for emergency assistance, a computing device may determine whether the user has granted approval for emergency delivery of the user's confidential information, and if such approval has been granted, the computing device may request the delivery of the user's confidential information to the emergency responders.

System and methods for providing a user experience are described, including a method comprising determining a location of a user and automatically selecting an interface device of a plurality of interface devices based upon the location of a user. The selected interface device can be configured to transmit audio, transmit video, receive audio, receive video, or a combination thereof. The method can also comprise automatically configuring a user experience provided via the selected interface device.

Activating devices based on user location

A flight data service subscription system allows personnel to subscribe to flight data services using an electronic devices such as a multifunctional display (MFD) onboard an aircraft. The MFD is used to select regional areas of coverage and generate requests for subscriptions to flight data services. Flight data application software running on the MFD manages flight data and the subscription requests. A server operated by a flight data service provider receives the subscription requests from the MFD and dispatches flight data responsive to the requests for the selected region. A wireless local area network on the ground transfers flight data and subscription requests between the MFD and the flight data subscription server.

On-demand flight data service

Flight data and information update files such as electronic charts used by aircraft cockpit devices are automatically installed by a secure, wireless delivery system. A service provider downloads file updates through the Internet to servers at airport locations, within wireless transmission range of aircraft on the ground. A secure wireless link and router transmits the file updates from the server directly to a router on board the aircraft which routes the files to cockpit devices onboard the aircraft. Authentication procedures are used to assure that the cockpit device is authorized to receive the update. The servers are also connected to airport kiosks, where pilots may download the updates onto a media storage device, such as a flash memory card that can be used by the pilots to manually install the updates in the cockpit devices.

Automated delivery of flight data to aircraft cockpit devices

A system provides for the automated access and downloading of multimedia files according to a custom made listing. Prior to download, a listing of all multimedia files to be broadcast from at least one broadcast website on the Internet may be received and such information may be provided to a system user through use of a web browser incorporated in a personal computer. Once this listing is received, a system user may make selections as to the multimedia files to be downloaded and the dates and times that this shall occur. The system user may further provide information for future use as to the categories for the types of programs which the system will provide notice for. At the designated time, a file download module in the web browser will access the designated broadcast website and download the multimedia file to a designated location.

System and method for automated download of multimedia files

A system that provides real-time communications over a data network, such as the worldwide web, between a system user who has accessed a Party's web page and a service agent employed by the Party. Functionality is provided via executable software associated with the web page such that when an icon on the web page is selected, a mode of communication is established. This mode may be IP telephony over the world wide web. In addition to the establishment of real-time audio communications, functionality is provided which translates the web page(s) which the system user is viewing or viewed already into HTML language which is transmitted as an E-mail and stored in a database until the phone call is assigned to a service agent. Included with the E-mail is identification information for the system user. Once a telephone call is assigned to a service agent, the E-mail memory is searched and the particular E-mail relating to the system user. The HTML language is then translated and the web page(s) is reconstructed, including all hidden hypertext links, I.P. address, cookies, login ID, password, Java applets, and any hidden HTML tags. The web page(s) is then pushed (using PUSH technology) to the service agent at the same time the telephone call is answered. The service agent is now able to view the same page the system user is viewing or viewed already and thus provide improved information and instruction.

Communications system for delivering IP telephony and web based information

A method and system for auctioning a product on a computer network includes an auction site computer having an auction site and a scan site computer having a scan site. The method and system includes placing a desired product identifier on the scan site of the computer network. The desired product identifier is indicative of a product desired by the buyer. The auction site has a sale product identifier indicative of a product for sale by a seller. The auction site is then monitored with the scan site. The desired product identifier on the scan site is then compared with the sale product identifier on the auction site. Whether the product desired by the buyer is for sale on the auction site by the seller is then determined from the comparison between the desired product identifier and the sale product identifier. The buyer is then notified when the product desired by the buyer is for sale on the auction site by the seller. A bid from the buyer is then placed to the auction site for the product desired by the buyer. The scan site may be monitored to determine the product desired by the buyer. Each of the product identifiers may include a category product and/or a description product identifier. Comparing the desired product identifier with the sale product identifier includes comparing the category product identifier on the scan site with the category product identifier on the auction site and/or comparing the description product identifier on the scan site with the description product identifier on the auction site. The auction site may be monitored with the scan site using electronic data interchange (EDI) messaging.
