A component () is disclosed which has a black oxide layer (), wherein metallic additive elements () are incorporated in the structure of the black oxide layer (). Furthermore, a method for manufacturing such a component () is disclosed, said method comprising the steps of: depositing metallic additive elements () on the component () and immersing the component () with the deposited metallic additive elements () in a black oxide solution (), wherein the metallic additive elements () are incorporated into the structure of the black oxide layer ().

Component

A bearing assembly includes a bearing, in particular a non-locating bearing, for supporting a shaft within a housing. The bearing provides an inner ring and an outer ring. A radially outer surface of the outer ring and/or a radially outer surface of the shaft and/or a radially inner surface of the inner ring and/or a radially inner surface of the housing has a protection layer. The protection layer is a thermally expanding or shrinking layer being thermally heated and expanded to or shrunk on the respective radially inner surface and/or radially outer surface. Further, a method for manufacturing a bearing ring for such a bearing assembly is disclosed.

Bearing assembly

A rolling bearing having an outer ring, an inner ring, and at least one row of rolling elements disposed between two raceways of the outer and inner rings. Furthermore, the raceway of the outer ring and/or the raceway of the inner ring at least partially provide a coating based on chromium nitride, the rolling elements at least partially include a coating based on carbon.

A corrosion-protecting layer system, e.g., for a bearing component used in a wind turbine, includes a base layer that contains polyurethane, zinc, and vinylphosphonic acid or silane. An intermediate layer is formed on the base layer and contains polyurethane and zinc. A top layer is formed on the intermediate layer and contains polyurethane and micaceous iron oxide. A sealing layer is formed on the top layer and contains polyurethane.

A planetary transmission for a wind turbine includes a bolt having a cylindrical outer surface and a gear having a cylindrical inner surface rotatably supported on the outer surface of the bolt. The cylindrical outer surface of the bolt and the cylindrical inner surface of the gear are configured to function as a plain bearing, and one or both of these surfaces may include a sliding layer formed from a low friction material.

Transmission, in particular, a planetary transmission

A bearing assembly includes at least one inner ring and at least one outer ring, and at least one surface of the inner or outer ring is partially colored with an acid-free ink. If the at least one surface includes a surface defect such as a scratch in a black-oxide coating, the acid-free ink may be applied to the scratch to at least partially conceal it.

A rolling-element bearing assembly includes a rolling-element bearing and an oil conditioning system for conditioning oil used to lubricate the bearing. The bearing has an inner ring and an outer ring and a plurality of rolling elements rotatably disposed between the inner ring and the outer ring. The bearing includes openings for discharging oil from the bearing and for introducing oil into the bearing, and the openings are connected to the oil conditioning system. A raceway of the inner ring and/or a raceway of the outer ring is coated with a first coating, and the rolling elements are at least partially coated with a second coating that is different from the first coating.

Rolling-element bearing assembly

A rolling element bearing includes inner and outer rings having raceways and rolling elements between the raceways. The raceways of the inner and outer rings are coated with a first coating, such as a phosphate coating, and the rolling elements are coated with a second, different, coating such as a black oxide coating.

Rolling-element bearing

A friction-enhancing lacquer contains a binder and hard material particles. The hard material particles include a titanium-boron compound or consist essentially of a titanium-boron compound, such as titanium diboride. The friction-enhancing lacquer is applied to the surface of a machine part, such as a bearing inner ring, outer ring or other bearing component, in order to increase its coefficient of friction and minimize or prevent slippage relative to another machine part clamped thereto. Also a bearing component coated with such a lacquer.

A method for chipless machining of a surface region of a rolling-element bearing ring includes rotating the rolling-element bearing ring relative to a first tool having a first tool tip and a second tool having a second tool tip, positioning the first and second tool tips at start positions at first and second opposite axial ends of the surface region, and moving the first and second tools in opposite axial directions such that the first tool tip follows a first helical or spiral path on the surface region and the second tool tip follows a second helical or spiral path on the surface region, the first and second paths crossing at multiple points within an overlap region located between axial ends of the surface regions.
