An insulation module for a floor of a motor vehicle includes a panel of a molded and bound fiber material. The panel extends along a longitudinal axis (X). At least one notch is formed in the thickness direction (D) of the panel and extends at an angle between 0&#xb0; and 30&#xb0; to the longitudinal axis (X). At least one incision is formed in an outer edge of the panel and extends at an angle between 80&#xb0; and 100&#xb0; to the longitudinal axis (X) of the panel.

A semi-rigid panel of foam insulation is secured transversely between the front fenders and certain body structures of a motor vehicle at several locations. Specifically, the insulation is located and secured to the fender by a retainer or clip having a channel that receives the insulation panel; the panel includes projections or lugs that are complementary to and seat within with frame or body member openings, ribs or other features; is secured within an integrated bracket or holder in the upper plenum having a slot or channel having a width equal to the thickness of the insulation; and includes a hook or lip that is received within an air inlet of the heating and air conditioning system of the vehicle.

A load compartment arrangement for a vehicle is disclosed. The load compartment arrangement includes a board device with a loading board having a flap section pivotably connected to one another. The flap section assumes an upper position such that the loading board is in a low position. Conversely, the flap section assumes a lower position such that the loading board is a high position. The load compartment arrangement includes at least one load compartment-fixed holding device for holding the flap section in the lower position. A basic body of the flap section supports itself in the holding device and is secured in a direction directed towards the load compartment floor in a positively joined manner when the flap section assumes the lower position.

A vehicle is provided with a bodywork section, a fender and an insulating device. Between the bodywork section and the fender a free space is formed. The insulating device for noise and/or moisture insulation is arranged between a drive region and a passenger compartment of the vehicle in the free space. The insulating device along its longitudinal extension L comprises first lateral support regions, with which it supports itself on the bodywork section and on the fender. The insulating device comprises second lateral support regions, with which the insulating device supports itself angularly with respect to the longitudinal extension L on the bodywork section and on the fender. The insulating device comprises third lateral support regions, with which the insulating device supports itself parallel to the longitudinal extension and offset in or against the travelling direction F of the vehicle on the bodywork section and on the fender.
