The invention relates to a method for compensation for different sensitivities at different wavelengths in a spectrometric measuring system, including steps of calibrating the measuring system in a wavelength range with respect to one or more known reference standards, creating a wavelength-dependent compensation algorithm for linearization, and adjusting the measuring system using the compensation algorithm. The invention further discloses a corresponding measuring system.

The invention relates to an optical system for measuring the absorption of light in a medium, comprising at least one light source for sending light and at least one optical detector, which receives the light and converts it into an electrical signal. The system is characterized in that the system comprises at least one light guide, wherein, in the region of the light source, light is coupled as reference light into the light guide, wherein the light guide is guided, at least in sections, past the medium, and wherein the light guide guides the reference light onto the detector.

The present disclosure relates to a method for metering a liquid into a wet chemistry analytical device wherein a specified volume of individual liquids is placed in a metering unit consisting of a metering container and at least one dose measuring device. During the filling of the metering container with the respective liquid, after the activation of the dose measuring device, an additional volume of the liquid is drawn into the metering tube beyond the position of the dose measuring device, wherein during this procedure and afterwards the status of the dose measuring device is checked, and a conclusion is drawn from this regarding the presence of an air bubble-free liquid in the metering tube.

The present disclosure relates to a sensor arrangement for determining the turbidity of a liquid medium. The sensor arrangement includes a sensor section with at least one light source for sending transmission light into a measuring chamber, and at least one receiver associated with the light source for receiving reception light from the measuring chamber, wherein the transmission light is converted into the reception light in the measuring chamber by the medium by means of scattering at a measurement angle, and the reception light received by the receiver is a measure of the turbidity. A method for determining a turbidity of a medium in a container using at least one turbidity sensor.
