An example method includes receiving, by a computing system, an identification of a recipient of an electronic message being composed from a message account associated with a user; predicting, by the computing system and based on text contained in previous electronic messages sent from the message account, text for a body of the electronic message; and outputting, for display, the predicted text for optional selection and insertion into the body of the electronic message.

Recipient based text prediction for electronic messaging

A method of processing messages executes at a computing device having one or more processors and memory. The memory stores one or more programs for execution by the one or more processors. Upon identification of a message subset in the plurality of messages pertaining to an event of a first event type or a first entity, an action associated with the message subset is executed thereby obtaining content from a data source distinct from the messages. A graphic compilation is formatted for display in the user in-box of a messaging application. A first portion of the compilation comprises the distinct data source content, a second portion of the compilation lists event items associated with the event or first entity extracted from the message subset, and a third portion of the compilation lists a plurality of objects, each of which is a synopsis of a message in the message subset.

Systems and methods for organizing the display of messages

Systems, methods and computer readable media for persistent conversation and email integration are described. Some implementations can include a method comprising receiving a persistent conversation communication message sent from a first user to at least one other user, and adding the message to an email thread associated with the persistent conversation. The method can also include storing the persistent conversation message as part of the email thread, and creating a new email thread associated with the persistent conversation when a predetermined condition is met, wherein the condition is one of an elapsed time or reaching a predetermined number of messages in the email thread. The method can further include rendering a displayable version of the persistent conversation within an email client, the displayable version including a continuous display of email threads associated with the persistent conversation.

Integration of email and persistent conversations

An interactive user interface for displaying available trips is provided. The user interface includes a calendar overview tool. An exemplary computing system has a processor and a memory. The computing system is configured to perform operations including obtaining data describing a plurality of trips between an origin and a destination. Each trip has a departure time and an arrival time. The operations also include respectively representing the plurality of trips with a plurality of trip identifiers at different positions on a first axis of a graph. The graph has units of time on a second axis. Each trip identifier extends from the arrival time to the departure time of the trip such trip identifier represents. An interval of time depicted by the graph can be adjusted by a user.
