A calliper for an electromechanical disc brake for a vehicle wheel. The calliper comprises a control unit configured to control the braking of the wheel, the control unit being intended to be electrically connected to a braking control line of the vehicle.

An epicyclic step-down gear for an electric parking brake, this step-down gear comprising a drive shaft, at least one step-down stage and a cylinder which forms a screw/nut system with an outer planet gear of this step-down gear. This step-down gear comprises at least one axial force transmission component which is positioned between a bearing ring of the drive shaft and the cylinder so as to transmit axial forces applied via either the bearing ring or the cylinder to either this bearing ring or this cylinder. Such an axial force transmission component prevents the drive shaft from buckling by defining an axial force transmission path which is radially eccentric.

A brake actuator comprising a DC motor, a computer configured for: measuring, over time, a current drawn by the motor and a voltage between the terminals of the motor; implementing a Kalman filter in order to compute, from the measured current and voltage, a filtered current drawn by the motor and a filtered rotational speed of a shaft of the motor; computing, from the value of the filtered current and the value of the filtered rotational speed, a clamping force that is produced by the actuator; controlling the motor such that it stops when the computed value of the clamping force reaches a predetermined setpoint value.

A motorised vehicle comprises a first wheel located laterally on a first side of the vehicle, and a second wheel located laterally on a second side of the vehicle opposite the first side. The vehicle comprises a steering system configured to modify the orientation of the wheels and to turn the vehicle. The vehicle comprises a trajectory modifier configured to vary the speed of rotation of the first wheel and to modify the trajectory of the vehicle in the event of failure of the steering system.

Vehicle brake actuator

A brake includes a caliper overlapping a disk. The brake also includes a first pad and a second pad which are carried by the caliper on either side of the disk. The brake further includes a first actuator including a first primary toothed wheel driving a first mobile piston pressing against the first pad in order to move same. The brake further includes a second actuator including a second primary toothed wheel driving a second mobile piston pressing against the second pad. The brake further includes a rotating shaft including a first and a second endless screw having opposite winding directions, the shaft being movable in translation. The brake further includes an electric motor for driving the rotating shaft. The first and second endless screws are engaged in the first and second primary toothed wheels respectively.

The reducer includes a screw, threaded internal rollers, and a tapped internal casing. The internal rollers each being in mesh firstly with the screw and secondly with the internal casing by means of at least one thread of opposite hand to a thread of the screw and of the same hand as a thread of the internal casing. The reducer further includes a tapped external casing and external rollers each in mesh firstly with the internal casing and secondly with the external casing. The external rollers are provided with at least one thread of opposite hand to a thread of the internal casing and of the same hand as a thread of the external casing.

Torque reducer

A mounting system for a brake pad in the housings of a disk brake yoke in which the brake pad comprises at its ends two mounting ears (), each ear being mounted in a housing of a disk brake yoke. The mounting system comprises for each pad ear, a spring () of linear or lamella shape, intended to bear, on the one hand, below a lower face () of the ear and, on the other hand, on the lower face of the housing of the yoke so as to separate the lower face () of the ear from the lower face of the housing.

A hydraulic braking apparatus for a motor vehicle having a service braking system (A) fed by a central hydraulic unit () and an emergency braking system (B). A simulator (M) resists a forward motion of an actuator member (D,) for a master cylinder () to define a reaction corresponding to the progress of a braking operation. Admission solenoid values () and exhaust solenoid values () connected to the wheel brakes () modulate pressurized fluid supplied by a central hydraulic unit () in effecting the braking operation. A sensor module including a processing unit, a stroke sensor and a force sensor () for obtaining data relating to both a force exerted on an axially-moving rod () and the travel of the rod through a determination of the position of the piston () with respect to the rod (). The sensor module is characterized by a first stationary electrical coil () that is arranged about the piston () and the rod () and a second moving electrical coil () that is disposed about the rod () and connected to the force sensor (). The first () and second () coils are coaxial and as a result induced oscillatory voltage within the stationary coil () generates an eddy current within the piston () that permit a measurement of the stroke of the piston () by means of eddy-current signal received by the stroke sensor using the piston () as a test body, and supplying the force sensor with electrical power through the second moving electrical coil (). The first stationary electrical coil () is further used as a medium for the transmission of an electrical measurement signal (S) that is generated by the force sensor ().
