A central module for a three-phase electrical switching device, comprising a central plinth intended to bear a central switch module and a front face comprising control/command members for the switching device. The central plinth comprises rear fixing means capable of fixing a rear plinth intended to bear two rear switch modules, lateral fixing means capable of fixing two lateral plinths intended to each bear a lateral switch module, an actuation mechanism intended to actuate a central switch module, and means for transmitting movements of the actuation mechanism toward the rear plinth and the lateral plinths to be able to actuate the rear and lateral switch modules. A three-phase electrical switching device comprising such a central module is also disclosed.

Architecture for an electrical switching device

A multipole electrical switchgear apparatus comprises a drive mechanism equipped with a pole shaft and a plurality of breaking modules. Each module comprises a vacuum cartridge moved by a movable rod articulated on a transmission lever. The pole shaft is linked to the transmission levers by means of a connecting rod. This common connecting rod gives the kinematic transmission system a great strength. Furthermore, it enables switchgear apparatuses having variable distances between breaking modules to be produced inexpensively, based on a standard pole shaft. Finally, it enables differentiation of the switchgear apparatuses to be delayed.

Multipole electrical switchgear apparatus equipped with a drive mechanism and breaking modules

A breaking module for an electrical switchgear apparatus comprises a vacuum cartridge comprising a body and a support frame of the cartridge. The cartridge is provided with a metal rod movable in translation and driving a movable contact. A collar both performs radial positioning of the body of the cartridge with respect to the frame and constitutes a guide sheath of the rod. For fitting, the collar can be opened so as to insert the rod radially therein. Once the body of the cartridge has been encircled, the collar is inserted radially in guide grooves of the frame.

Breaking module comprising a vacuum cartridge and fixing means, and an electrical switchgear apparatus comprising such a module

A switchgear apparatus comprises a vacuum cartridge one contact of which is fixedly secured to a metal rod protruding out from the cartridge. A flexible metallic electrical connector designed to electrically connect the rod to a busbar is provided, at one of its ends, with a bored hole in which one end of the rod is inserted. The joint between the flexible electrical connector and the rod is achieved by means of a braze implementing a metallic filler compound having a low melting temperature, so as not to damage the cartridge when the brazing operation is performed.
