Disclosed is a computer-implemented method for assessing suitability between an optical device and its user, the optical device including an optical lens placed in front of an eye of the user when the user uses the optical device, the optical lens having a plurality of optical zones having different optical functions, the method including at least the following steps: a requesting step, during which the user, equipped with the optical device, is requested to use the optical device in a plurality of different visual situations, each visual situation being associated with an optical zone of the optical lens and during which the user looks at a visual target located in the user's natural environment through the optical lens; and a suitability index assessing step, during which the user assesses a suitability index based on his use of the optical device in the plurality of different visual situations.

Method for assessing the suitability between an optical device and a user of the optical device

The invention relates to a method for checking the correct assembly of a device consisting of a frame and of two corrective ophthalmic lenses. The main feature of a method according to the invention is that it includes the following steps: an initial step of determining at least one parameter which makes it possible to position the lenses in the frame relative to the face; a subsequent step of acquiring at least one image of the face of said wearer with said device, which shows centering and horizontal level marks; a step of comparing said at least one parameter determined during said initial step with the corresponding parameter deduced from said at least one image; and a step of making a decision regarding the correct assembly of the device.

Method for checking the correct assembly of a frame and corrective lenses

The invention concerns a set of progressive multifocal opthalmic lenses, each having a first progressive multifocal surface and a second surface preferably spherical. It proposes to define the set of lenses with regard to the optical characteristics of the lenses, and particularly wearer power and oblique astigmatism, in worn conditions. For this purpose, the invention defines an ergorama associating with each sight direction in worn conditions a target object point, and a given power. This ergorama supplies a power target for a definition by optimisation of the lenses, and is used in a radii plotting programme for calculating the optical characteristics during optimisation. The set of lenses has substantially identical optical performances for a given addition, whatever the power of the far vision reference point.
