A method for creating a metal reinforcement for a leading or trailing edge of a turbine engine blade including a reinforcement foot and head, the method including: creating a plurality of V-shaped tapered elements that form different parts of the metal reinforcement so that the metal reinforcement is divided into a plurality of parts distributed between the foot and the head; positioning the parts on equipment that is shaped like the leading or trailing edge of the turbine engine blade; and rigidly connecting the different parts so as to form the complete profile of the one-piece metal reinforcement the by recombining the different parts.

Method for producing a metal reinforcement for a turbine engine blade

A method for manufacturing at least a portion of a metal part of a turbine engine having a width. The portion of the metal part is manufactured by metal disposition using a MIG welding apparatus including a pulsed current generator and a pulsed deposition-wire flow, and used for varying the current and flow, the manufacture being carried out in the form of metal beads in several consecutive layers.

A method of retouching metal parts joined by brazing at high temperatures is disclosed. The brazed zones are retouched by a retouching laser. The peak power of the retouching laser is between 1500 and 3000 W. The retouching laser is used in pulsed mode.

A welding tool for TIG arc welding, plasma welding or laser welding, including a welding head carrying a refractory electrode and surrounded by a skirt. The skirt is releasably fastened on the welding head and has a front portion which extends forwards and is shaped to surround a weld head with clearance over a predetermined length. The skirt is made by molding or thermoforming a composite material made of at least two layers of ceramic fibers which are bonded together by an elastomer that withstands high temperatures.
