Article of footwear comprised of an upper that includes a vamp, the vamp including a first wall, at least two keepers configured to receive a portion of a lace, each keeper being arranged on either side of a sagittal plane of the article of footwear. Each loop is defined by the following: the interstitial space between the first wall and a yoke locally covering an outer surface of the first wall, the interstitial space having an anterior opening and a posterior opening through which a portion of the lace extends, and an upper linkage between the first wall and the yoke, the upper linkage being achieved due to a first affixer located in a first connection zone close to the sagittal plane, whereby the yoke is superimposed on the first wall without folding.

Article of footwear

A pole/wearable article assembly that includes a pole, a handle for the pole, and a wearable article designed to at least partially cover a user's hand. The wearable article includes an element for fastening to the handle. The handle includes the following: a body having a housing to receive the fastening element; a retaining element cooperating with the fastening element when the latter is within the rear housing; and a latch. The retaining element is movable in relation to the body between a position for retaining the fastening element and a position for releasing this fastening element. The latch is movable between a locking position in which the latch cooperates with the retaining element so as to maintain the retaining element in its retaining position, and an unlocking position in which the latch no longer cooperates with the retaining element to maintain it in its retaining position. The handle of the assembly includes a return mechanism biasing the latch towards its locking position.

Pole/wrist strap assembly

An end piece for a pole and a pole including such end piece, the end piece including a basket including a housing for receiving a distal end of a shaft of the pole, as well as a locking ring for surrounding at least a portion of the housing. The housing is demarcated by a wall supporting at least one catch provided, at a first end, with a nub configured to extend within the housing, the catch being capable of assuming a plurality of configurations corresponding to various radial positions of the nub. The ring is shaped to limit the radial displacement of the first end of the catch outward of the housing when the ring is assembled to the basket.

An article of footwear, such as a boot, including an outer sole assembly and an upper, the boot extending lengthwise from a rear end to a front end, widthwise between a lateral side and a medial side, and heightwise from the outer sole assembly to an upper end of the upper, the upper including a lateral quarter and a medial quarter, the boot including a first tightening device, which itself includes a linkage and a quick-locking device, the boot including a cover flap. The flap demarcates a storage space capable of receiving the quick-locking device.

A boot that includes a sole and an outer upper having an impervious portion, with at least one outer reinforcing element assembled to the upper by cementing at least in the impervious portion thereof. Preferably, the reinforcing element includes a heel reinforcement and lateral tightening flaps.

Boot

A sole, especially for a sport boot, adapted to sports that require a foot movement or to gliding sports. The sole, especially an external sole, is constituted by a front part and a rear part. The rear part covers at least the base of the heel zone and is rigid and substantially non-flexible. Preferably, the rear part extends substantially up to the so-called metatarsophalangeal bending zone. The present invention also relates to a method for manufacturing a sole, especially a sole such as described hereinabove. In addition, it relates to a boot having a sole such as described hereinabove.

Sole for a sport boot and a sport boot having such a sole

A boot especially adapted to sports that require movement of the foot, or to gliding sports, including an upper provided with a rear stiffener surrounding the heel and an external sole. According to the invention, the stiffener is rigid and substantially non-flexible, and extends along at least one side of the boot, up to the so-called metatarsophalangeal bending zone. According to a second aspect of the invention, the stiffener is rigid and substantially non-flexible, and surrounds the heel and essentially the rear portion of the base of the foot, in the manner of a shell. This construction also allows for a better transmission of the forces, while maintaining a flexibility of the boot in the metatarsophalangeal zone, due to the reinforcement of the rear portion of the boot. These constructions permit a better control of the ski through the heel retention and, at the same time, a general gain of energy by eliminating the parasitic deformations of the sole and of the boot.

Sport boot

The sport boot has a relatively rigid collar surmounting an upper and whose rearward pivoting motion is restricted. A damping support zone matches up with the rear part of the wearer's lower leg and has gradually-increasing flexibility by virtue of the combined use of a flexible vertical tongue and elastic padding on a portion of the rear upper edge of the collar.

Sole for sports footwear

The sport boot comprises an upper and at least two reinforcing elements (21, 22) arranged medially and laterally in the area of the user's ankle. The lateral reinforcing element (22) extends higher along the ankle than does the medial reinforcing element (21). Advantageously, the lateral reinforcing element (22) is equipped with a flexibility-enhancing feature (27, 28) at its upper end.
