Simplified safety-binding heelpiece for a ski boot

The front binding () comprises two jaws () holding a boot vertically and laterally by means of their actions on the sole of the boot and articulated on a carriage () that is movable in translation between two extreme positions in which the action of the carriage () on release means gives rise to the release of the boot by rocking of one or other of the jaws (). The carriage () is returned to an intermediate position by an elastic means. The binding is noteworthy in that the rocking pins of the jaws () are parallel to the longitudinal axis of the binding. Safety binding for a ski boot

The heel piece of a safety binding for holding a boot on a ski, comprises a tubular binding body which is open at its two ends, is rigidly linked to a sole grip (,) and is articulated about a transverse cam forming part of a stirrup piece (,) which is articulated onto a pivoting plate (,) joined to the ski, this body containing at least one spring which works in compression between a piston bearing on the cam, and a stop secured to a setting screw. The setting screw bears axially, by its head, against a bearing zone of the binding body, and the stop consists of a nut mounted on the setting screw, the screw, with its stop, the spring and the piston being mounted in the body through the end corresponding to the sole grip.

Ski boot safety binding

The heel piece of a safety binding for a ski boot, comprising a tubular binding body which is linked to a sole grip (,) and is articulated about a transverse cam forming part of a stirrup piece linked to a pivoting plate mounted on a rail, along which rail this plate can be positioned by rear-operated positioning means. The body contains at least one spring which works in compression between a piston bearing on the cam and a stop linked to or consisting of a setting screw. The cam is formed in a cylindrical part which serves as a rotation pin for the body and has a flat extending parallel to the axis of said cylindrical part, with the piston bearing on this flat when the heel piece is closed. The cam has a second flat or a stop limiting the tilting of the binding body when the heel piece is being opened.

A binding holds a ski boot in a releasable manner to a ski or the like. A jaw (3) is pivotally mounted on a body (2) around a transverse axle (4), such that it is rotatably movable from a closed position to an open position and vice versa. The jaw (3) is held in a closed position by a biasing system. The binding also includes a loosening lever (11) pivotally movable around the transverse axle (4), such that it is movable from a position in which it extends towards the top, corresponding to the closed position of the jaw, and an open position in which it extends towards the rear, corresponding to the open position of the jaw. The biasing system includes a piston (6) which is longitudinally moved by action of a spring (7) pressing on a ramp (8,9) defined in the jaw (3). The piston is constrained at least toward the top by at least one restraining stub axle (14, 14a, 14b, 140, 140') jointed to the piston (16) at its upper end by an axle (12) and to the body (2) at its lower end by a transverse axle (15).

Releasable binding for ski, monoski, snowboard or the like

Binding part comprising a fitted body (1) sliding along a support (2) fixed to the ski and pushing in the direction of the middle of the binding with the aid of a drive spring (11) supported against a bolt (19) and intended to keep the boot, through its compression, cramped between the front toe-piece and the heel binding. It comprises a visual check display of the compression of the drive spring, comprising an arm (24) connected kinematically to the mainstay (19) and a window (26) on the upper side or lateral side of said body in which said arm appears, preferably only in the event of the correct adjustment of the binding.
