A variable vacuum capacitor is described in which oil inside the main bellows () is pumped through the bellows and through the oil circuit () of a heat exchanger by a pump (). Water passes through coolant channels () of the heat exchanger, from inlet () to outlet ('). The extendable capacitor drive shaft () is hollow and serves as a conduit, conveying the oil to the bottom of the (bellows), thereby ensuring a full circulation of the oil right through the bellows and then through the heat exchanger. Pump drive means () may be a gerotor hydraulic motor, coupled to a gerotor oil pump () via magnetic coupling (). Pumping heat transfer fluid (oil) through the bellows allows the capacitor to operate at significantly higher currents and/or lower temperatures, and significantly extends the life of the device.

Variable vacuum capacitor and cooling method

A device for attachment of a timepiece movement to a watch case, including a peripheral attachment element of the movement positioned in abutment on an axial bearing surface of the case. The device includes thermoformed studs integral with the case having a mushroom shape at an end thereof providing an axial retaining surface acting as a rivet to hold the peripheral attachment element of the movement against the axial bearing surface of the case.

Method and device for assembling a movement to a watch case

A watch case includes a case middle made of plastic or electroformed material and a crystal. The crystal or the case middle includes elbowed catches that are each insertable in a bayonet fitting in a recess of the case middle or the crystal. The case also includes a rotation stop angularly securing the case middle and the crystal in an angular position such that a part of each catch is frontally locked behind a holding surface of the case middle or of the crystal. The rotation stop is frontally snap-fitted on the case middle and/or the crystal by snap-fit fingers that cooperate with a complementary stop surface of the case middle and/or of the crystal.

Timepiece movement including a date display drive device formed of a display disc including a toothing, said drive device including driving means and a drive source. The driving means includes a wheel set including pins, having a toothed wheel and a pinion including pins, and an engaging wheel engaging said toothed wheel. The pinion with pins includes a pair of pins configured to be positioned on either side of any tooth of the toothing. The toothed wheel of the pin wheel and the engaging wheel respectively have complementary non-circular profiles. When the two pins are oriented in a tangential direction to the toothing, these two wheels have a first gear ratio that is lower than a second gear ratio between them when the two pins are in perpendicular alignment to said tangential direction.

A timepiece movement including a time-setting stem which is moveable longitudinally and in rotation along a stem axis in a bottom plate, the movement including at least one display control mechanism which includes at least one counter, an arbour of which pivots about a pivot axis.
