An instrumented rolling bearing, comprising an outer ring and an inner ring having a rolling bearing chamber delimited therebetween. Rolling bodies are positioned in the rolling bearing chamber while being maintained by a rolling bearing cage. The rolling bearing further comprises a measuring device including at least one sensor suitable for measuring at least one operating parameter of the instrumented rolling bearing, the measuring device being at least partially integrated into the rolling bearing chamber bearing cage. The measuring device further comprises at least one cable or antenna that extends along the rolling bearing cage in the rolling bearing chamber. A method for manufacturing one such instrumented rolling bearing is also disclosed.

A cage for a rolling bearing, wherein the cage is intended to ensure the circumferential spacing of a row of rolling elements. The cage comprises pockets for the rolling elements and connecting portions, each connecting portion connecting two successive pockets. At least one of the connecting portions is elastically deformable at least in a circumferential direction so as to allow the two associated pockets to move relative to one another in the circumferential direction.

A cage for a rolling bearing, wherein the cage is intended to ensure the circumferential spacing of a row of rolling elements. The cage comprises pockets for the rolling elements and connecting tabs. Each connecting tab connects two successive pockets. At least one recess is formed in a thickness of at least one of the tabs.

The cage for a rolling bearing intended to ensure the circumferential spacing of a row of balls is provided. The cage provides at least two groups of pockets for the balls each provided with means for axially retaining the cage on the associated ball. A first range of axial play is provided between the pockets of a first of the at least two groups and associated balls. A second range of axial play is provided between the pockets of a second of the at least two groups and associated balls. The values of the ranges are different from each other.

Cage for a rolling bearing comprising a plurality of pockets () for a plurality of rolling elements (), at least one pocket () being of ellipsoidal shape and provided with means () of axial retention of the cage () on the corresponding rolling element (), the ellipse defining the said ellipsoidal pocket () being determined by a major axis (A) situated in the circumferential plane of the cage () and a minor axis (B) in the axial direction of the cage (). The minor axis (B) is comprised between the major axis (A) and the diameter (D) of the rolling element () arranged in the said ellipsoidal pocket ().

A rolling bearing cage provides a circumferential spacing of a row of rolling elements and comprises first pockets configured to accommodate first rolling elements of the row of rolling elements. The first pockets are provided with axial retention portions configured to retain the rolling bearing cage on the first rolling elements. Second pockets are configured to accommodate second rolling elements of the row of rolling elements and not provided with axial retention portions configured to retain the cage on the second rolling elements. Separation portions are provided which between the separation portions delimit the first and second pockets. Each of the separation portions delimiting one of the first pockets comprises a notch open in an axial direction and open in opposing radial directions.

Rolling bearing cage () for an electric steering system of a motor vehicle, designed to ensure the circumferential spacing of the balls (), comprising a plurality of first sockets () provided with means () for axially retaining the cage () on a ball () and a plurality of second sockets () without means for axially retaining the cage () on a ball (). Each of the first sockets (), with a ball () housed in the first corresponding socket (), has a first axial clearance, a first radial clearance and a first circumferential clearance (J) and each of the second sockets (), with a ball () housed in the second corresponding socket (), has a second axial clearance, a second radial clearance and a second circumferential clearance (J).
