A method for the real-time control of exposure to an X-ray dose emitted by a generator tube for generating an X-ray beam and received by a detector includes a flat panel detector, comprising a set of pixels organized into a matrix along rows and columns and configured so as to generate signals on the basis of the X-ray dose impinging on the detector, the generator tube comprising a control unit for controlling the generator tube that is configured so as to control an emitted X-ray dose, the control method comprising the following steps: exposing the flat panel detector to an X-ray dose emitted by the generator tube for generating an X-ray beam; repeatedly reading out at least one of the rows of pixels while the flat panel detector is exposed to the X-ray dose; determining a payload signal and a stray signal based on the signals from the readout of the at least one of the rows; transmitting the payload signal to the control unit for controlling the generator tube.

Method for the real-time control of exposure to an X-ray dose

A portable radiological cassette comprises a housing, and a digital detector of incident ionizing radiation, taking the form of a flat panel, the detector being positioned in the housing and comprising a memory space, and being intended to generate a digital image of a patient exposed to the ionizing radiation and with whom an identification code is associated, the digital image being stored in the memory space. The cassette comprises a device for selecting the identification code of the patient, which is intended to write the identification code of the patient in the memory space. The invention also relates to a method for identifying a patient.

An image detector comprises a sensor produced on a first monolithic substrate comprising a set of pixels organized in a matrix on rows and columns and configured to generate signals as a function of a radiation striking the detector, column conductors, each linking the pixels of a same column and intended to convey the signals generated by the pixels, at least one bump contact situated at the periphery of the first substrate and outside of the matrix of pixels and linked to the column conductors. At least two column conductors are connected together on the first substrate outside of the matrix of pixels and the column conductors connected together converge toward the at least one bump contact.

A method for correcting an image obtained by a matrix of photosensitive points finds particular utility when the matrix is subjected to an electromagnetic disturbance. The method of correction comprises a first step of row-by-row reading of the matrix. The signals read during a first reading of each row represent the charges accumulated subsequent to exposure of the matrix to luminous radiation and make it possible to form, for each column of the matrix, a discrete signal. The signals read during a second reading represent the charges accumulated in the absence of exposure and form, for each column of the matrix, a discrete signal. In a second step of the method, a signal corresponding substantially to the signal which would have been formed at the time of the first reading in the absence of exposure is determined. In a third step, the signal is subtracted column by column from the signal.

Method for correcting images obtained by an array of photosensitive points

The present invention relates to a method of processing images obtained from a photosensitive detector of the type notably produced by semiconductor material deposition techniques. The method consists in correcting an image acquired by the detector with a gain image. According to the invention, a temperature gain drift correction image is applied to the acquired image as a function of a temperature measured by the detector during the acquisition of the image. The invention also relates to a photosensitive detector in which the temperature gain drift correction means are included, independently of the gain image.

The present invention relates to a device for recharging a battery of a portable ionizing-radiation sensor resting on a recharging base. The sensor includes, on one or more accessible faces, a plurality of electrical-contact areas connected to the battery that powers the sensor. The recharging base comprises a device for mobilizing one or more mobile contacts. The mobile contacts are connected to a power source. The mobile contacts mechanically enter the body (i.e., housing) of the recharging base and mechanically protrude from the body of the recharging base through one or more openings made in the body of the recharging base. The mobile contacts are electrically in contact with the plurality of electrical-contact areas of the sensor if one or more of the plurality of electrical-contact areas are positioned facing the openings when the mobile contacts protrude from the recharging base. An embodiment of the invention may be used for X-ray or Gamma-ray medical imaging.
