An article of footwear including a sole having a forefoot portion, a midfoot portion and a heel portion and a support member including a first part and a second part, where the first part extends at least partially into the forefoot portion, and the second part extends from the first part and at least partially into a portion of the sole that is in or between the midfoot portion and the heel portion, the first part including a lateral support member and a medial support member that form a continuous loop defining an opening, an outer edge of the lateral support member and the medial support member combining to form an outermost edge having a continuous convex curvature, where the support member has a front end portion and a rear end portion, and the front end portion or the rear end portion has a curve extending in a vertical direction.

Sole including closed loop support member

An article of footwear including a sole, and an upper having a lateral side and a medial side, each including a first lace opening. A lateral lace support and a medial lace support are attached to the sole and positioned adjacent to inner surfaces of the lateral and medial sides of the upper. The lateral lace support has a first length and the medial support has a second length, where the second length is greater than the first length, and each include a second lace opening. A lace is threaded through the first lace openings of the upper and the second lace openings of the lateral lace support and the medial lace support, where an axis extending between the lateral lace support and the medial lace support, after the lace is secured to the upper, is offset from an axis extending from a center of gravity of a user's foot.

Footwear with double lacing system

An article of footwear including a sole and a first support member and a second support member positioned on the sole, where the first support member and the second support member are separated from each other, and where the first support member has a main body and a terminal end that extends at least partially below the main body of the first support member, and the second support member has a main body and a terminal end that extends at least partially below the main body of the second support member.

Footwear with stabilizing sole

An article of footwear is provided and includes a sole having a forefoot portion, a midfoot portion and a heel portion and a support member including a first part and a second part. The first part of the support member extends at least partially into the forefoot portion, and the second part of the support member extends from the first part and at least partially into a portion of the sole that is in or between the midfoot portion and the heel portion, where the first part forms a loop defining an opening.

A support member is positioned on the sole, and includes at least one portion positioned a designated distance above the upper surface of the sole to form a space between the support member and the sole, where the portion of the support member moves through the space and toward the upper surface of the sole when pressure is applied to the portion of the support member, and flexes away from the upper surface when pressure is decreased or released from the portion of the support member.

An article of footwear is provided and includes an upper having a bottom surface and a length and a sole secured to the bottom surface of the upper and including a midsole and an outsole, the outsole including a peripheral stabilizing member extending outwardly from the upper along a periphery of the upper from a medial side to a lateral side of the upper, the peripheral stabilizing member having a width and a length that are each at least 20% of the length of the upper.
