A quantity of gas is introduced into a gas reservoir via a filling station provided with a filling line. The quantity is measured. A signal is generated indicating a corrected quantity of transferred gas. The signal is obtained by adding a predetermined, positive or negative, corrective amount to the measured quantity of gas transferred.

Method for measuring the quantity of gas introduced into a reservoir and filling station

Device for filling tanks with pressurized gas, in particular hydrogen gas tanks of motor vehicles, the device comprising at least one gas source, a transfer circuit comprising at least one upstream end connected to the source and at least one downstream end intended to be connected in removable fashion to a tank to be filled, the transfer circuit additionally comprising, between its upstream and downstream ends, a set of buffer storage container(s) which is (are) connected in parallel to the transfer circuit via a set of respective connecting valve(s), the transfer circuit comprising a portion of pipe(s) forming a loop, a plurality of the buffer storage container(s) being connected in parallel to the said loop, characterized in that the transfer circuit comprises a plurality of separate downstream ends each intended to be connected in removable fashion to a respective tank to be filled, the said downstream ends being connected in parallel to the said loop and comprising a set of respective linking valves, so that control of the connecting valves and of the linking valves makes it possible to bring at least one first buffer storage container into fluidic communication, via the loop, with a first downstream end and, simultaneously, to bring at least one second buffer storage container into fluidic communication, via the loop, with a second downstream end and/or to bring two separate buffer storage containers into fluidic communication.

Device and method for filling tanks with pressurized gas

Leak testing is performed after filling a first tank with pressurized gas and before filling a second tank with the same via a filling circuit including first and second isolation valves. After the first tank is filled, the pressure of gas trapped between the two closed isolation valves is measured. If the pressure is below a predetermined threshold, the first isolation valve is opened until the pressure reaches or exceeds the predetermined threshold, at which time the first isolation valve is closed and the second isolation valve is opened so that the leak test may be performed. If the pressure is otherwise at or above the threshold, the leak test is performed.

Process and device for filling tanks with pressurized gas

A measured quantity of gas is introduced into a gas reservoir via a filling station including a flow meter. The quantity of gas transferred by the filling station to the reservoir is measured by the flow meter. The measured quantity of gas is reduced or increased by a predetermined corrective amount to yield a corrected gas quantity.

The invention relates to a station and method for filling a tank with a fuel gas. Said station includes at least one fuel gas source store and a gas transfer system having a first upstream end connected to the source store(s) and a second downstream end that is in fluid communication with the tank. The gas transfer system includes at least one control valve, characterized in that the at least one source store includes a rigid outer wall and a flexible sealing wall that is arranged inside the space defined by the rigid outer wall. The flexible wall defines a storage space for the fuel gas. The first upstream end of the system is connected to the storage space defined by the flexible wall. The at least one control valve is also characterized in that the space located between the flexible wall and the outer wall is connected to a system for transferring liquid into the source store in order to fill or extract the liquid in the source store and control the pressure in the store when filling and/or extracting fuel gas within the sealing wall.
