A document management system performs name matching operations to validate an identity claimed by a recipient of a document. To validate a claimed identity the document management system compares name data obtained from an identity data source with name data corresponding to a recipient entity of a document to determine whether name features of the identity source name data match recipient name data. The name matching operations may include applying a set of name matching rules to the identity source name data and the recipient name data to determine whether features that differ between the identity source name data and the recipient name data are acceptable alternative representations. Responsive to successfully validating the identity, the system may authorize the recipient to perform actions on the document. Identity source name data may be received from a variety of identity data sources, such as an identity document or a trusted service provider.

Identity verification in a document management system

A system and a method are disclosed for receiving a request for a user to perform a plurality of activities with respect to a secure document, a given activity of the plurality activities being assigned based on a known parameter of the user. The system transmits the request to the user, and responsive to detecting an interaction with the request, determines that the known parameter has changed. The system responsively determines requirements for performing the plurality of activities based on a replacement parameter of the user, determines a replacement activity based on the requirements, and transmits a new request to the user, the new request replacing the given activity with the replacement activity.

Modifying elements of a secure document workflow based on change in profile of recipient

A system and a method are disclosed for receiving a request for a user to perform a plurality of activities with respect to a secure document. The system determines requirements for performing each respective activity of the plurality of activities. The system retrieves profile data for the user, and determines based on the profile data a subset of the activities directed to achieving a result that is reflected in the profile data. The system transmits a modified version of the request to the user, the modified version eliminating the subset from the plurality of activities.

Bypassing elements of a secure document workflow based on identity of recipient

A cryptographic communications system enables two entities related by an insecure communication channel and having initially no privately shared knowledge, to agree on a shared unconditionally secure information. Each one of the entities has the capability to generate a new form of randomness called Deep Random, such that any other entity than itself cannot know anything about the probability distribution except a given public characteristic. The internal system of each entity is made up with: (1) a Deep Random Generator (DRG) capable of generating Deep Random signals and of making calculations using the generated signals, and (2) an Interactive Communication Module (ICM) capable of publishing to and reading from the insecure channel. The two entities execute a communication protocol such that they can each compute their respective estimations of the shared information that are probabilistically as close as desired from perfect equality.
