The application relates to an absorbent disposable incontinence diaper () of the open type having an at least three-part diaper cover () with an inner side () and an outer side (), the diaper cover comprising a main part () and at least two separate rear side parts (). The main part () has a front region (), a rear region () and a crotch region (), which lies therebetween in the longitudinal direction () and comes to lie between the legs of a user. The rear side parts () are arranged on both sides of the rear region () of the main part () in such a manner that said rear side parts () are fixed in first overlap regions () with the outer side thereof on the inner side of the main part () along rear, lateral longitudinal edges (). The rear side parts () extend in the transverse direction () over the rear lateral longitudinal edges () of the main part () and have closure means (). The main part () and the rear side parts () comprise a nonwoven material or are made therefrom. The diaper cover () extends continuously over a length L1 from a front end () of the diaper cover () via the crotch region () to a rear end () of the diaper cover (). An absorption insert () having an inner side and an outer side is arranged on the inner side () of the diaper cover (), the absorption insert () comprising a liquid-impermeable back sheet () and a top sheet (), between which an absorption body () is arranged. The invention relates to a method for producing an absorbent disposable incontinence diaper (), having a main part () comprising an absorption element (), comprising a front region () having front side longitudinal edges (), a rear region () having rear side longitudinal edges () and a crotch region () arranged there between and placed between the legs of a user, and having rear side sections () joined to the rear region () and front side sections () joined to the front region () on both sides, which extend in a transverse direction () of the disposable incontinence diaper () beyond the side front and rear longitudinal edges () of the main part () and are spaced apart from one another in a longitudinal direction () of the disposable incontinence diaper (), the rear and front side sections () being connectable detachably to each other in order to apply the disposable incontinence diaper (), characterized in that for the purpose of contouring leg opening regions () on both sides of the disposable incontinence diaper (), the rear side sections () and/or the front side sections () are formed by a severing operation of side section webs () that are supplied endlessly and are contoured in the process, and an endlessly supplied main part web () is folded in transversely with respect to the plane of the web and transversely which respect to the machine direction () before the endlessly supplied side section webs () are joined, in that the side section webs () are then joined onto the main part web (), the severing operation () covering the side section webs is then carried out on both sides, so that the combination comprising the main part web () and joined side section webs () can then be accelerated in the machine direction () and unfolded in the process, wherein the front and rear side sections () can be spaced apart from each other in the longitudinal direction ().

Method for producing an absorbent disposable incontinence diaper and apparatus for conducting the method

The invention relates to a folded medical cover () for use in operation rooms, especially for instrument tables () or operation tables or for the extremities of a patient. The cover comprises a tubular section () with at least one first open end () for putting the cover onto the table () or the extremity, and has a second, preferably closed end (). The tubular section () is folded at least once transverse to its longitudinal direction () and the second end () functions as a stop () when the cover is pulled over the table or the extremity. The aim of the invention is to simplify handling of such a cover. Towards this end, an intermediate section (), disposed in the longitudinal direction () between an end section () forming the second end () and the first open end () is turned inwards into the tubular section () in such a manner that the table () or the extremity can be inserted in the opening () formed by the inwardly turned intermediate section () and that, when the cover () is put on the table () or the extremity, the intermediate section () which is turned inward can be unfolded when the table () or the extremity rests against the second end () as the cover is being drawn on.
