A headgear device for a user including an integrated face shield, mask and hood. More specifically, the headgear device includes a hood, a face shield, and a moisture barrier fabric to cover the user's mouth when the headgear device is worn and direct air out through a breathable particle filtration fabric.

A protective garment configured to facilitate easy donning of the garment is described. The sleeves and legs are shorted and held in a donning configuration by releaseably affixing at least a portion of upper and lower segments of the interior surface of each limb. This allows the garment to be handled and donned by the wearer, without the wearer touching an exterior surface of the garment. A method of preparing a protective garment for donning and a method of donning such a garment is also disclosed.

A disposable respirator has a strap fastening system that facilitates ease of donning and comfort during wear. More specifically, the respirator includes a pull-strap fastening component and a strap configuration that provides a tight seal over the mouth and nose of the user, yet be easily donned and comfortable to wear.

A method of making an absorbent structure having a three-dimensional topography includes placing at least a portion of the absorbent structure between opposed mold surfaces. At least one of the mold surfaces has a three-dimensional topography. The three-dimensional topography of the mold surface is imparted onto the absorbent structure so that the absorbent structure has a three-dimensional topography corresponding to the three-dimensional topography of the mold surface.

An absorbent structure having a longitudinal axis, a lateral axis, a z-direction axis normal to the longitudinal and lateral axes, longitudinally opposite ends and laterally opposite side edges. An upper surface of the absorbent structure has a three-dimensional topography relative to the longitudinal and lateral axes and defines a plurality of peaks and valleys of the upper surface relative to the z-direction. A lower surface of the absorbent structure has a three-dimensional topography relative to the longitudinal and lateral axes and defines a plurality of the peaks and valleys of the lower surface relative to the z-direction. The absorbent structure has a projected area as determined by a Topography Analysis Method, and the upper surface of the absorbent structure has a vertical area as determined by the Topography Analysis Method of at least about 0.1 cmper 1.0 cmprojected area of the absorbent structure.

There is provided a personal care product that has a liquid impermeable backsheet, a liquid permeable topsheet, and an absorbent composite located between the topsheet and backsheet. The absorbent composite has an upper layer made of pulp cellulose fiber in an amount of from 80 to 95 weight percent, at most 20 weight percent binder and has a density between about 0.03 and 0.15 g/cc and a basis weight between about 20 to 75 gsm. The composite has a lower layer having from 80 to 95 weight percent pulp, at most 20 weight percent binder, and has a density greater than the upper layer and between 0.08 and 0.20 g/cc, and a basis weight between 120 and 200 gsm.
