An ostomy output diversion device is used to cover and seal closely around a patient's stoma, to divert stoma effluent output through the device, through a drain tube and into a container or reservoir, temporarily eliminating the need of an adhesive-based ostomy pouching system. The ostomy output diversion device is placed over the person's stoma, with the base ring surrounding the peristomal skin, the adjustable inner tube is retracted until the base ring is centered over the stoma, the body support strap is then placed over the device to secure it to the patient's body, the inner tube with stoma-sized adapter is then extended over the stoma, the patient applies the desired pressure against the skin, then secures the stoma-sized adapter in place with the pressure adjustment lock. The device may also include an ostomy pouch mounting ring for attachment to an ostomy pouch, and a disposable receptacle.

Ostomy stoma output diversion device

The device is customizable to each ostomate's unique stoma diameter and provides a disposable waste receptacle having a hollow absorbent section and a solid absorbent section for sanitary, discreet and odorless disposal of both urine and excrement. The disposable waste receptacle may include a super absorbent polymer powder that becomes a gel in the presence of liquid. The device preferably consists of a disposable waste receptacle that may be positioned over the stoma and includes an absorbent inner material for capturing waste, a cap or plug for scaling the device after use, and a collar stand for pressing an adhesive wafer to the skin and for holding the assembled device in an upright position.

Antiperspirant compositions comprising: (a) from about 0.1% to about 30% by weight of the composition, of a high-efficacy antiperspirant active; (b) from about 0.1% to about 35% by weight of the composition, of a thickening agent; (c) from about 10% to about 99% by weight of the composition, of an anhydrous liquid carrier; (d) from about 5 ppm to about 20% by weight of the composition, of a primary fragrance; and (e) from at least about 5 ppm by weight of the composition, of a secondary fragrance that is distinct from the primary fragrance and is included in a surfactant-free, water-releasable matrix, which renders the secondary fragrance within the matrix substantially odorless prior to aqueous activation, wherein the antiperspirant composition is substantially devoid of a malodor reducing agent.

Consumer noticeable improvement in wetness protection

Consumer noticeable improvement in wetness protection using solid antiperspirant compositions

A package for a consumer care product that includes (a) a product chamber and (b) an outer jacket at least partially surrounding the product chamber. The product chamber comprises at least one lateral wall having an inner surface that at least partially surrounds a consumer care product. Each of the product chamber and the outer jacket contain an identifier, wherein the identifier of the product chamber and the identifier of the outer jacket coordinate to aid a consumer in selecting the desired consumer care product.

Package for merchandising consumer care products

A package for dispensing a pressurized material to be applied to the body. In one embodiment, the package comprises a container body having a cavity for containing a pressurized material to be applied to the body, the container body having an outer surface. An applicator is positioned adjacent the outer surface and is configured to dispense pressurized material. A cap is captively engaged with the container body, the cap being movable over the outer surface between a closed position in which the applicator is substantially shielded and an open position in which the applicator is substantially exposed. In another embodiment, the container body includes a body facing edge and a recessed surface bounded by the body facing edge, the recessed surface extending inwardly from the body facing edge. An applicator is configured to dispense the material and is positioned along the recessed surface.
