A seal component includes a cylindrical wall, a frustoconical wall extending inwardly from the cylindrical wall, and a seal plate enclosing the frustoconical wall. The seal plate includes a first removable panel and a second removable panel, the second removable panel disposed within an area of the first removable panel. A seal component includes a circumferential ridge circumscribing the second removable panel, the circumferential ridge integrally formed with the seal plate and removably coupled with at least the second removable panel. Additionally, the seal plate includes circumferential grooves and scoring lines that provide a cutting guide to facilitate cutting and removing at least one of the first and second removable panels.

A stamped steel detectable warning tile and method of forming such includes preforming structures in the tile and subsequently coining the structures to form tactile portions to provide satisfactory end results. Further, the tactile portions can be formed in a staggered fashion along a press to distribute tonnage and extend the lifespan of the press, as well as control a curvature of the tile due to the press operations.

An arcuate tactile sidewalk tile arrangement includes a connector tactile sidewalk tile including a wedge-shaped main body and one or more connector flanges that adjoin one or more longitudinal sides of the wedge-shaped main body. One or more rectilinear tactile sidewalk tiles overlap the one or more connector flanges. A plurality of truncated domes projects upwardly in a vertical direction from an upper surface of the wedge-shaped main body, as well as an upper surface of each one of the one or more rectilinear tactile sidewalk tiles.

Arcuate tactile sidewalk tile arrangement and method of assembly

An arcuate tactile sidewalk tile arrangement includes a connector tactile sidewalk tile including a wedge-shaped main body and one or more connector flanges that adjoin one or more longitudinal sides of the wedge-shaped main body. One or more rectilinear tactile sidewalk tiles overlap the one or more connector flanges. A plurality of truncated domes projects upwardly in a vertical direction from an upper surface of the wedge-shaped main body, as well as an upper surface of each one of the one or more rectilinear tactile sidewalk tiles. Also disclosed is a method of assembling an arcuate tactile sidewalk tile arrangement.

A tactile sidewalk tile has a horizontal top surface and a horizontal bottom surface. A plurality of truncated domes project vertically from the top surface, and each of the truncated domes has a corresponding dome depression formed on the bottom surface. A sheet of tacky mounting material is applied to the horizontal bottom surface and is covered by a sacrificial release sheet until installation. According to one method of installing tactile sidewalk tile, the sacrificial release sheet is removed from the sheet of tacky mounting material, the tactile sidewalk tile is placed on an underlying sidewalk surface, pressure is applied to the horizontal top surface, and anchor holes are drilled using a plurality of fastener-receiving bores in the tactile sidewalk tile as guides.
