An electrified vehicle powered by a traction battery includes a coolant loop arranged to convey coolant through at least a radiator, a chiller, and the traction battery to transfer heat from the battery. The vehicle also includes a refrigerant loop in fluid communication with the chiller to selectively circulate refrigerant through the chiller to provide supplemental heat transfer from coolant conveyed through the chiller. The vehicle further includes a vision system having at least one camera with a field of view including a vicinity of the radiator and a controller programmed to detect a radiator coolant leak based on image data output from the vision system. The controller is also programmed to cause a bypass of the radiator within the coolant loop to stop conveyance of coolant through the radiator in response to detecting a coolant leak.

A system includes a computer including a processor and a memory, the memory storing instructions executable by the computer to operate a component in a vehicle in an autonomous mode, detect an impact to the vehicle, and then actuate any of a propulsion, a brake, and a steering only according to user input.

Vehicle component operation

Methods, devices, and non-transitory process-readable storage media automatically configure or reconfigure input mechanisms to provide user inputs to simultaneously-active applications with input mechanisms that conflict. An embodiment method performed by a processor of a computing device may include recognizing that an overlapping control condition exists between simultaneously-active applications when a first control element of a first application and a second control element of a second application are configured to receive respective user inputs via a common input mechanism. When the processor determines that an overlapping control condition exists, available input mechanisms of the computing device may be identified, and one of the identified available input mechanisms may be reconfigured to provide the user inputs for one of the first control element or the second control element while the overlapping control condition exists. When the overlapping control condition no longer exists, the processor may return control inputs to normal configurations.

Dynamic control schemes for simultaneously-active applications

Methods, systems, and devices are provided for selecting a wireless access point from a plurality of access points operated by a plurality of wireless service providers, where each access point may be enabled to concurrently compete for a user's access. A wireless device may transmit and/or broadcast a request for communication service to several network access points, which may be access points associated with licensed- and unlicensed-spectrum network service. A wireless device may receive offers for service in response to a service request and select one of the offers based on one or several factors, which may include the power cost or battery life required to connect to a network access point associated with an offer. In some cases, a non-agent based scheme may be employed in which a wireless device may communicate directly, and may negotiate service with one or more access points. Other aspects, embodiments, and features are also claimed and described.
