A garden swing canopy adjustor comprising; a support member having a first end configured to be coupled to a garden swing canopy and a second end; a first adjustment mechanism fixedly coupled to the second end of the support member, the first adjustment mechanism is operable to rotate the support member around a first axis to adjust a tilt of the garden swing canopy in a first direction; and a second adjustment mechanism coupled to the first adjustment mechanism, the second adjustment mechanism is operable to rotate the support member around a second axis to adjust the tilt of the garden swing canopy in a second direction, and wherein the second axis is perpendicular to the first axis and comprises a fixed orientation.

An exercise apparatus includes a frame with a pair of vertical guides. A carriage is slidably carried on each of the guides. Each of the carriages has a locking mechanism to lock the carriage at a selected vertical position and a release to disengage the locking mechanism. A horizontal exercise bar is slidably carried on guide rods. First and second cables are coupled to a selectable exercise resistance, each of the cables having an end selectively coupled to either the respective carriage or to a respective bracket at the end of the exercise bar. Secondary brackets on the exercise bar are configured to engage respective ones of the carriage releases and grab the carriage so as to selectively engage and disengage the locking mechanisms upon axial rotation of the exercise bar and raise and lower the carriages with the exercise bar.

Slidable bar and carriage exercise assembly

A rowing machine provides resistance to both pushing and pulling motions of both the upper body and lower body. A linear sliding seat that moves in a longitudinal direction is connected to a flywheel to provide resistance to back and forth motion. A handle arm is also connected to the flywheel to provide resistance to back and forth motion. The flywheel creates cyclical back and forth motion of the seat and handles for the user to push and pull with the arms and legs. The handle arm and seat may be linked together, and then one or the other linked to the flywheel, providing synchronization between the handlebar, carriage and flywheel.

The present invention is an adjustable lounge garden swing having a fixed support structure and a seat support pivotally suspended from the support structure on a single pivot axis to provide a pendular movement when in motion. At least one lounge seat is pivotally coupled to the support structure where the lounge seat has a seating portion and a backrest portion that are fixed relative to one another but adjustable relative to the seat support to adjust the reclination angle of lounge seat. In particular, an embodiment of the present invention provides a lounge seat for a garden swing that has an adjustable reclination angle relative to the seat support and is positionable at a selected reclination angle through a reclination adjustor.

Adjustable lounge garden swing

The present invention is an adjustable lounge garden swing having a fixed support structure and a seat support pivotally suspended from the support structure on a single pivot axis to provide a pendular movement when in motion. At least one lounge seat is pivotally coupled to the support structure where the lounge seat has a seating portion and a backrest portion that are fixed relative to one another but adjustable relative to the seat support to adjust the reclination angle of lounge seat. In particular, an embodiment of the present invention provides a lounge seat for a garden swing that has an adjustable reclination angle relative to the seat support and is positionable at a selected reclination angle through a reclination adjuster.

An apparatus for communicating exercise resistance includes a carriage assembly with at least one upper and at least one lower pulley. First and second cable ends are reeved around the upper and lower pulleys, respectively, and are coupled to a source of selectable exercise resistance. An exercise member is selectively coupled to the two cable ends such that movement of the exercise member away from the carriage is subject to a first exercise resistance when only one of the cable ends is attached and is subject to a second, greater exercise resistance when both cable ends are attached.

Dual resistance exercise apparatus

A flexible shroud is used to cover weights and hide pulleys and cables on exercise machines. The flexible shroud can be a coarse mesh or screen for see through areas, cloth such as canvas or other fabrics, or other flexible sound absorbing materials. The material may be supported around or between a framework of ribs, poles, or metal screen and takes the shape of the framework. The material may also be supported only at the top and bottom of a weight stack or structure by a rigid template from which the material takes shape. The top or bottom support may be adjusted to stretch the fabric taut so it takes shape better and tightens to provide a better safety shield. The material may be attached to the supports or framework by snaps, hook and loop material, or other removable fasteners.

Flexible shroud for exercise equipment

A lounge has a foot-operated mechanism for propelling the lounge with a rocking motion. The lounge has a frame with at least one arcuate runner contacting the floor. A user-supporting surface is attached to the frame with portions of the surface adapted to support different body regions of the user, particular the body regions proximate to the user's knees, neck and buttocks. The user-supporting surface may be configured so that the user's buttocks are at a lower elevation than the user's knees and neck. A foot pedal is connected by a linkage assembly to an actuating member that contacts the ground. By pushing against the pedal, the user can impart a rocking motion to the lounge. The lounge may be folded along portions of the frame for compact, convenient storage.

A safer, more user-friendly spring-balance single-rider teeter-totter includes manual adjustments for both the vertical position of the spring, which adjusts the rest height of the seat, and the horizontal position of the spring from the pivot, which adjusts the counterbalance resistance. A safety cover may be provided for the spring or other counterbalance mechanism.

A multi-station exercise apparatus includes a station for performing abdominal exercises. The abdominal exercise station is combined with another exercise station, such as a press exercise station, a high pulley station or a leg extension/leg curl station. The apparatus for performing an abdominal exercise includes a pad for the head and/or neck of the exerciser that is pivotally connected to the frame of the exercise machine. A pair of hand grips are connected to the head/neck pad and disposed so that the exerciser may grasp the hand grips in order to pull forward in a 'crunch' exercise. Exercise resistance is provided by means such as a weight stack that is shared by the various stations of the exercise machine. The head/neck pad may be 'docked' when not performing an abdominal exercise to prevent looseness and serve as a fixed headrest for other exercises.

Abdominal exercise station

A single rider teeter-totter has a support frame and a longitudinal beam member pivotally coupled to the support frame. A seat for a user is attached to a first end of the beam member. A counterbalancing resistance is provided by a plurality of elastic members, each of which is attached at a first end to the support frame. A number of the elastic members appropriate to the weight of the user are secured to a securing station disposed on the beam member. The unused elastic members may be secured to a second securing station attached to the support frame.

Bungee teeter-totter

A cushioned support has a rigid base and a molded resilient cushion. The cushion is releasably attached to the base with a wrap-around lip or by means of a retaining member disposed along a periphery of the base. The retaining member, if used, may be conveniently manufactured as an extrusion with a first portion for attachment to the perimeter of the base and a second portion having a barbed cross-section for engaging the cushion.
