Items are identified from one or more catalogues and images of the items are obtained. A dynamically rendered Virtual Reality (VR) store is constructed from the images and from images of objects/structures associated with a store. The item images that populate the VR store can be customized to a given customer and/or a given store. A VR session is established with a customer within the VR store, the item images can be selected, examined, and purchased during the session by the customer as the customer navigates through the VR store. Specialized rooms during the VR session allow the customer to interact in real time with other customers shopping via other VR sessions. The customer and other customers are rendered as avatars within the specialized room. A designated avatar or automated chatbot provides automated and real time assistance to the customer during the VR session.

System and method for generating notifications when a person is in a driving state, in a non-driving state, and optionally a destination arrival notification so that interested parties, such as family members, friends and/or co-workers, can make informed and proactive decisions to not call or text the person while driving is described. With push notifications, interested parties can thus make informed decisions and purposely delay making a phone call or texting a driver until after they have arrived at their destination and are no longer driving. As a result, drivers are not needlessly distracted, significantly improving road safety.

An application, embedded in a computer readable medium, that is configured to disable certain communication and/or other application functions on a mobile communication device. The application is configured to (i) receive one or more sample signals, which are indicative of ambient motion of the mobile communication device in the vehicle, from an accelerometer (ii) ascertain when the mobile communication device is in an undesirable motion state from the patterns of ambient motion, and (iii) disable one or more communication and/or other application functions when the mobile communication device is in the undesirable motion state. By using the accelerometer to generate the one or more sample signals, patterns of motion of the mobile communication device relative to the vehicle can be ascertained. When the motion patterns indicate that the vehicle is in motion, then the one or more communication and/or other application functions are disabled.

The present invention is a software product that provides merchants that sell time-slot inventories tools to capitalize on the Internet revolution. The merchant is thus empowered, using the mail module, to directly communicate with its customer base, using customer profiles and demographics to create a highly targeted and effective marketing and promotional ad campaign. The software product also allows the merchant to auction off time-slot inventory over the Internet. Lastly, the software product enables the creation of Web 'super-communities' consisting of the aggregate of all the individual merchant's customer-communities using the software product.
