Radial rolling bearing

A rolling bearing arrangement for a conical crusher in which a vertically arranged driving element is rotatably mounted on a base and a crushing cone is mounted inclined with respect to the vertical on the upper end of the driving element so as to be freely rotatable, characterized in that the rolling bearing arrangement comprises a single common hollow cylindrical outer part in which two inner rings situated axially behind each other are supported on rolling elements, the outer part being part of the driving element and the first inner ring being connected with the base whereas the second inner ring, which is arranged inclined and eccentrically offset with regard to the first inner ring, carries the crushing cone.

Rolling bearing arrangement for a conical crusher

Radial rolling bearing with adjustable clearance comprising two concentric races whose outer facing surface areas are provided with a groove, the grooves defining the raceway for the rolling elements, a slot is provided in the area of the center plane of the rolling bearing extending radially from the bottom of one of the grooves over only a portion of the race depth so that the slotted race has a partial raceway at both sides of the slot wherein the slot width is changeable by means acting on the race and causing a deformation of the race, characterized in that at least one partial track (6) is defined by a race wire (7) which is provided with rounded back (8) at the one side facing the race (1) and is swingably mounted relative to the race (1) in a circumferential groove (9) of the latter.

Radial rolling bearings

An elastic annular seal for use in an antifriction bearing wherein a portion of the inner race extends axially beyond the adjacent end face of the outer race and the races define an annular gap extending axially toward the chamber for the rolling elements of the bearing. The seal has a disc-shaped supporting portion which is anchored in a groove of the portion of the inner race, a sleeve which extends from the supporting portion axially toward and into the gap and bears against the inner race, a first lip which extends from the supporting portion and one axial end of the sleeve externally of the gap and sealingly and slidingly engages the end face of the outer race, and a second lip which is integral with the other axial end of the sleeve and slopes in the gap radially outwardly toward and into sealing and sliding engagement with the outer race. The lubricating material which accumulates in the annular space between the two lips enhances the sealing action by preventing moisture, dust and/or other foreign matter from penetrating axially into contact with the rolling elements. Such lubricating material issues from the space for the rolling elements and deforms the radially outermost portion of the second lip on its way into the space between the lips.

Elastic seal for use in antifriction bearings

A rotary roller bearing connection with a free center comprising two concentric races, one race having a circular slot open towards the other race, the other race having a circular protrusion engaging the said slot with spacing on all sides, cylindrical rollers between the outer surface of the protrusion and the corresponding slot surface to absorb radial forces, a row of rolling elements between the face of the protrusion and the corresponding slot surfaces to absorb axial forces, of which at least the bearing row transmitting the main axial load is cylindrical rollers, and sections of circular arc form whose radii correspond at least to the radius of rolling elements disposed in the retaining row being provided in the area of the retaining row facing the bearing row and absorbing the lifting, tilting movement both at the transition of the protrusion to its associated race and at transition of the track area of the corresponding slot to the slot bottom.
