An apparatus dispenses a raw material in liquid form into a manufacturing zone. The raw material is, by computer-controlled, point-by-point targeted light irradiation, heated and solidified by the region of incidence of a light beam relative to the manufacturing zone being altered in a continuous and/or in a step-by-step manner. The light beam is emitted from the light beam source, or from an optical unit influencing the light of the light beam source, with a substantially ring-shaped light intensity profile. The ring-shaped light intensity profile is formed by a ring-shaped region in which the light intensity initially increases in the direction toward the center of the ring from the outer diameter and then drops off again toward the inner diameter of the ring, with the light intensity being equal to zero in the interior region of the ring.

Method for producing a component and system for this purpose

The invention relates to a shape-adaptive medical implant having at least one actuator, which the implant can be changed from a first implant geometry to a second implant geometry, the implant having a different geometric shape in the second implant geometry from that in the first implant geometry, wherein the actuator has a swellable chemical substance which swells when supplied with liquid, and wherein the implant which is designed to supply liquid present outside the implant to the swellable chemical substance. The invention also relates to the use of an electrical signal source.

The invention relates to a method for manufacturing a component () by a generative manufacturing process, wherein the component is entirely or partially produced from a liquid raw material (), characterised in that the component is entirely or partially produced from a liquid raw material () that can solidify when heated, the raw material is discharged in liquid form into a manufacturing zone () and heated and hence solidified by a computer-controlled, targeted light spot, in that the point of incidence of a light beam () from a light beam source is continuously and/or gradually modified relative to the manufacturing zone ().

A method includes directing a broadband X-ray emission along a predetermined fixed detection line across a direction of travel of an object and detecting the X-rays at several sampling positions of the object relative to the detection line. Sensors making up the detection line simultaneously detect a first partial image for a first spectral segment of the X-ray and a second partial image for a second spectral segment or the entire spectrum of the X-ray. In order to generate the relevant partial image data, a value of the radiation energy in the relevant spectral segment is determined at each detection position associated with a partial image. The partial image data of the first and second image are arithmetically combined into a partial output image, and the partial output images of all sampling positions are combined into one output image.
