An exhaust gas turbocharger may include a shaft mounted in a bearing housing carrying a compressor wheel and a turbine wheel. The shaft may include a sealing bush arranged on the shaft in a rotationally fixed manner. The sealing bush together with a bearing housing cover may at least partially delimit an annular oil centrifuging space arranged coaxially to the sealing bush. The bearing housing cover may include a guiding nib located radially outside the sealing bush partially covering the sealing bush in axial direction. The guiding nib may be configured to guide oil separated in the oil centrifuging space onto the rotating sealing bush. The rotating sealing bush may be configured to direct the oil into the oil centrifuging space in response to centrifugal force creating an oil swirl.

Exhaust gas turbocharger

The present invention relates to a fuel cell assembly having a fuel cell and an actuating element, which is activated by a control unit, for bringing residual gas out of a fuel flow of the fuel cell. The invention is provided with the control unit having an open-loop and/or closed-loop control system which takes into consideration the fuel concentration in the fuel flow.

Fuel cell assembly

A rolling bearing assembly for a rotor of a turbine includes a bearing housing and a bearing cartridge. The bearing cartridge may include an outer shell and an inner shell arranged concentrically thereto. The outer and inner shell may be rotatably mounted on one another about a concentric axis of rotation in two bearing sections axially spaced from one another via rolling bodies. The inner shell may be arranged on a rotor shaft and in the region of the bearing sections includes an inner press fit region. The outer shell may be arranged in the bearing housing and have axially spaced from the bearing sections at least one outer press fit region. In the respective bearing sections an oil damping ring channel may be radially formed between the bearing housing and the outer shell. The oil damping ring channel may extend coaxially to the axis of rotation.

Rolling bearing assembly of an exhaust gas turbocharger

A radial bearing may include a bearing body, which includes a receiving space for a shaft to be arranged therein. The bearing body may have an inner wall facing the receiving space, in which transverse grooves running in an axial direction and separated from one another in a circumferential direction by separating portions are formed. The radial bearing may include a supply channel penetrating the bearing body provided in at least one separating portion. The at least one separating portion may have at least one oil pocket spaced from the associated supply channel.

Radial bearing

A charging device may include a shaft rotatably mounted on at least one slide bearing in a shaft bearing region. At least one flow opening for introducing and discharging a fluid may be defined on the shaft bearing region, wherein the shaft in the shaft bearing region may have two outer portions each running in a circumferential direction and axially binding an inner portion. At least one of the outer portions on its surface may include at least one microstructure.

Charging device

In an exhaust-gas turbocharger with a shaft axially arranged between a compressor wheel and a turbine wheel and connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the compressor wheel as well as to the turbine wheel, said shaft being rotationally mounted with a turbine-side shaft part in a turbine-side bearing, a connecting region with minimal heat conductivity is axially arranged or configured between the turbine-side shaft part and the turbine wheel in such a manner that the heat flow emanating from the turbine wheel is choked.

Exhaust gas turbo-charger

The invention relates to a fuel cell installation comprising a fuel cell unit (). Said installation is also provided with a dosing unit () which comprises at least one dosing valve () and is used to dose a fuel () for at least one anode () of the fuel cell unit (), and a starting valve for dosing the fuel () for at least one cathode () of the fuel cell unit () during a starting phase. The aim of the invention is to be able to produce and operate one such fuel cell installation in an economical manner. To this end, at least one throttle element () comprising a fixed internal cross-sectional area is used to fix the maximum quantity of fuel that can be dosed in the starting phase.

Fuel cell system with a metering unit

The fuel cell apparatus has a fuel cell (), a pressurized fuel tank () for supplying fuel at a supply pressure and a pressure-reducing unit () for reducing the supply pressure to an operating pressure of the fuel cell. In order to improve the overall efficiency of the unit in comparison to the art the pressure-reducing unit () is constructed as a cooling apparatus for cooling at least one cooling element, preferably a condenser ().

Fuel cell apparatus with pressurized fuel tank and pressure-reducing unit for supplying fuel at a reduced operating pressure

A pressure regulator module for controlling a gas is provided, which includes a chamber, at least one gas inlet, and at least one gas outlet. In addition, a proportional valve operating essentially according to the pressure-equalization principle is post-connected to the gas inlet and is pre-connected to the chamber, and the proportional valve acts together with a pressure sensor situated in the chamber.

Pressure regulator module for controlling a gas

A valve for controlling a fluid, in particular for controlling a gas. The valve includes a valve housing which accommodates an electromagnetic actuating unit for a solenoid armature which is guided axially displaceably in the valve housing and which cooperates with a valve seat via a valve-closing member, so that a fluid stream from an inflow side to an outflow side of the valve is controllable. At least one lubricant chamber adjacent to the guide gap between the valve housing and the solenoid armature is provided.

Valve for controlling a fluid

A device for mixing fluids, in particular a gas injection valve, nozzle valve, mixing nozzle or jet compressor, is proposed. To that end, a first fluid-carrying device () for carrying a first fluid and a second fluid-carrying device () for carrying a second fluid are provided; the fluids are mixed with one another in a mixing region () that is in communication with the fluid-carrying devices (). In addition, a means () for generating turbulence in the applicable fluid and a heater, with which the fluid can be heated before reaching the mixing region (), disposed downstream of the means () for generating turbulence in terms of the flow direction of the applicable fluid are associated with at least one of the fluid-carrying devices (). The proposed device is used in particular for mixing hydrogen and saturated steam and to deliver this mixture to a fuel cell.

Device for mixing fluids

A fuel injection device having an injection valve on which an atomizing grid is arranged. The disk-shaped atomizing grid is arranged downstream of a valve seat face and is equipped with an atomizing structure which at least partially possesses variations in cross section in the axial direction, over the thickness of the atomizing grid. As a result of the geometry of the atomizing grid, the fuel is atomized particularly finely into very small droplets without auxiliary energy. The fuel injection device is particularly suitable for use in fuel injection systems of mixture-compressing spark-ignition internal combustion engines.

Fuel injection device

In a liquid pump of the side channel type, particularly an electric fuel pump, comprising a suction cover (11) having an inlet aperture (12), an intermediate casing (13) having an outlet aperture (14), and a pump impeller (15) enclosed therebetween, and also comprising concentric side channels (21, 22) which are formed in mutually oppositely situated surfaces (111, 131) of the suction cover (11) and intermediate casing (13) and into which lead an inlet opening (12) and an outlet opening (14) respectively, the geometry of the outlet opening (14) is selected, for the purpose of reducing noise and achieving greater smoothness of running, such that its aperture wall (141) bounding the end of the side channel (22) in the intermediate casing (13) extends outward with a concave curvature, at least in the side channel region, from the inner surface (131) of the intermediate casing (13) onward, and that on the other hand the geometry of the end of the side channel in the suction cover (11) has a configuration such that the side channel (21) is given a steeply rising end flank (211).
