A method is provided for communication, which is implemented by an interfacing device of a server of a first network for distributing digital content. The method includes: receiving a content ingestion request emitted by a device of a second network for distributing content, with a view to storage of the content in the second distribution network; and when the first distribution network is not able to respond to the request, dispatching an enquiry destined for at least one third network for distributing content, requesting a transfer of the content to the second distribution network. The first distribution network delegates the transfer of the content. The third distribution network then transfers the digital content to the second content distribution network.

Technique for communication between networks for distributing digital contents

A method of redirecting a request (R_act) sent by a terminal equipment (STB) for control of a data stream (FL) broadcast by a source (HE) in a telecommunications network. The method comprises: on reception of a request to control a data stream sent by a terminal equipment (STB), a step of obtaining info cation representing a current data stream control capacity for a plurality () of broadcast servers; a step of selecting, with the aid of the above information, a server (NTSS) from said plurality of servers able to control said data stream (FL) broadcast by the source, a step of sending a request to capture this data stream to the selected server if it is not already capturing the data stream for at least one other terminal equipment; and a step of redirecting the control request to the selected server.

Method and device for redirecting a data flow monitoring query

A routing method in an ad hoc network between a source node (S) and a destination node (M) to guarantee a required quality of service level between the source node and the destination node. The source node (S) sends a route request to the network, request containing required quality of service level and an initial value of cost function (Fg). A node receiving a route request sent by a neighbor node then refuses said request if node is not able to guarantee said required quality of service level, and sends over the network a route request containing required quality of service level and a value of cost function combining a value of the cost function received from a previous neighbor node and a value of The cost function calculated on a connection with a neighbor node. The destination node (M) sends a route response step by step to the source node (S) containing the cumulative value of the cost function (Fg) corresponding to a route formed by successive connections between the source node (S) and the destination node (M). The source node chooses the route between the source node (S) and the destination node (M) having the best cumulative cost function.

Routing method in an ad hoc network

A method of creating a tunnel for transporting at least one data flow in a label-switched telecommunication network, the telecommunication network comprising at least one ingress edge router, a server able to define tunnels, called static tunnels, in the telecommunication network based on traffic forecasts in the telecommunication network. The method includes the steps, performed by an ingress edge router receiving an admission request from a client to transfer a data flow in the telecommunication network, of determining whether a static tunnel defined by the server in the telecommunication network is able to transport the data flow, creating a tunnel, called dynamic tunnel, able to transport the data flow in the telecommunication network if no static tunnel defined by the server is able to transport the data flow.
