A dental x-ray image media holder comprising: a backing plate affixed to a bite block, the backing plate including a least one channel for receiving a post affixed to the bite block, such that the bite block can be selectively moved within the channels to orient the bite block in a predetermined position relative to the backing plate; and a plurality of indicia, such that at least one of the indicia is used to indicate a first position of the bite block relative to the backing plate, the first position being associated with a predetermined first dental imaging procedure; and a locking member configured to prevent rotational movement of the bite block along a post axis upon engagement of the locking member.

A dental x-ray image media holder () includes an image media backing plate () adjustably affixed to a bite block (). The backing plate () has at least one channel (-) for receiving a post () affixed to the bite block (), such that the bite block () can be selectively moved within the channel (-) to orient the bite block () in a predetermined position relative to the backing plate ().

A compact disc drink coaster includes a compact disc, and a protective backing. In a first preferred embodiment, the protective backing is fastened to the back of the compact disc. The large top surface of the compact disc may be easily printed with a design, name, slogan, or some other art work. In a second preferred embodiment, an edge spill ring may be placed around an outside circumference of the compact disc to prevent moisture from the top surface of the compact disc from spilling over the outside circumference thereof on to a resting surface. In a third preferred embodiment, an absorbent pad is fastened to the top surface of the compact disc to collect moisture from the bottom of a glass, can, or bottle. When the user is done with any of the compact disc drink coaster preferred embodiments, thereof may be placed in a compact disc jewel case which may be stored in a standard compact disc storage device.

A surgical cutting tool which may be used in cutting away protruberances from the skin of an individual includes a thin flexible blade including two side margins and a front margin which is keen-edged, and two finger grips which each include an engagement surface affixed to and extending along one side margin of the blade, and an outwardly facing gripping surface so that the tool can be held by the finger grips and thereby safely, easily and comfortably bent into an arcuate shape for cutting, by bringing the finger grips closer together. Preferably each gripping surface forms a rounded notch conforming in approximate shape to a finger. The gripping surface forming the notch may include gripping protrusions which enable a user's fingers to grip the tool by the finger grips firmly. The tool preferably includes a sheath-like guard formed from flexible material which is affixed to and extends along and covers a rear margin of the blade between the finger grips. Although the guard protects a user of the tool from the keen-edged blade rear margin, the flexible material from which it is formed allows the user to bend the blade without substantial resistance from the guard.
