A catalyst coating for use in a hydrolysis catalyst (H-catalyst) for the reduction of nitrogen oxides, a manufacturing method for such a coating, a catalyst structure and its use are described. The H-catalyst includes alkaline compounds, which are capable of adsorbing HNCO and/or nitrogen oxides and which include alkali and alkaline earth metals, lanthanum and/or yttrium and/or hafnium and/or prasedium and/or gallium, and/or zirconium for promoting reduction, such as for promoting the hydrolysis of urea and the formation of ammonia and/or the selective reduction of nitrogen oxides.

Coating for reducing nitrogen oxides

The invention relates to the coating of a particulate filter used in the treatment of exhaust or waste gases. In the manufacturing of the coating according to the invention, there is used a liquid-based sol, where the average particle size of the contained particles is below 100 nm, preferably below 50 nm.

An adsorbent catalyst for reducing the amounts of nitrogen oxides, hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide contained in exhaust or combustion gases, which catalyst adsorbs nitrogen oxides, when the exhaust or combustion gases contain in excess of oxygen, and liberates and reduces the adsorbed nitrogen oxides, when the gases contain oxygen in stoichiometric amounts or less, which adsorbent catalyst include a porous support material the surface area of which is large and which contains at least the following: a first catalytic metal, which is preferably Pt, a first NO adsorbent, which preferably contains at least one of the following metals: Ba and Sr, a second NO adsorbent, which preferably contains at least one of the following metals: La and Y, and a redox NO adsorbent, which preferably contains at least one of the following metals: Ce, Zr, Ti, Nb, Mn, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu and G. The invention also relates to methods for reducing the amounts of nitrogen oxides, hydrocarbons and carbon monoxide contained in exhaust or combustion gases.

Catalyst and process for purifying diesel exhaust gases

The invention relates to a process for the production of hydrogen peroxide by the anthraquinone process. A reaction mixture into which there are fed hydrogen or a hydrogen-containing gas and a working solution, i.e. an anthraquinone derivative in an organic solvent, is circulated via a tubular static mixing zone (9) which is continuous or comprises several parts, in order to hydrogenate the anthraquinone derivative in the presence of a solid catalyst, and by removing hydrogenated working solution (13) and gas (11) from the circulating reaction mixture (8). According to the invention, the reaction mixture (14) is circulated (8) via a catalyst-coated static mixing zone (9), where it is simultaneously both mixed and catalyzed.
